Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For July 24,
2018 Trump spoke at the VFW Convention to
rousing cheers and applause as he touted the growth of the economy fueled by
the tax cut which every Blue voted against, castigated Democrats for wanting
open borders and the abolishment of ICE and in a touching moment invited a 94
year old vet up to the stage and welcomed him to the Oval Office on his 95th
birthday in April (he also castigated the Blues who voted against confirming
Robert Wilkiee who was confirmed 86-9); Senator Claire McCaskill locked in a
tight race to keep her Senate seat was hit with a damaging report of her
husband’s affordable housing business being the recipient of $131 million in
subsidies (no evidence showing she was involved in directing the subsidies to
her husband but the optics stink and reinforce the idea that the Swamp exists
to further the wealth of politicians and their relatives and allies); that once beautiful city by the bay, San
Francisco, destroyed by drugs, criminal illegals and homelessness is
registering undocumented aliens (PC be damned illegal aliens) to be able to
vote in school board elections—most likely just the first step in giving them
the right to vote in state elections to elect more Democrats; Clare Bronfam,
multimillionaire heiress to the Seagram fortune, was arrested along with three
others for their involvement with NXIVM which has been charged with conspiracy
to commit crimes like identity theft, harboring of aliens for financial gain,
extortion, forced labor, sex trafficking, money laundering, wire fraud and
obstruction of justice; clueless Behar and Meghan McCain clashed on The View over the Blues being taken over
by Socialists with Behar likening Socialists to liberals and McCain castigating
their policies (just look to Venezuela to see the disaster of socialistic
policies); Ivanka Trump, frustrated over the restrictions she had placed on her
fashion company to avoid conflict of interest while she serves in the White House,
has shut the company down; the Ninth Circuit may be reading the tea leaves of
the shift in SCOTUS configuration ruled again in favor of the 2nd
Amendment ruling that it applies outside the home as well; through July 23,
2018, 1623 people mostly of color have been shot by mostly people of color, of
whom 261 have died (when will Chicago get serious about this carnage or is this
the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to
the slaughter of people of color by people of color?).

1963 of Karl Malone aka the Mailman, noted retired professional basketball
player with the Utah Jazz where with teammate John Stockton perfected the give
and go play to great effect against opposing teams.

known to his fans as O. Henry was released from prison after serving a three
sentence for bank embezzlement.
b. 1966 Michael Pelkey and Brian
Schubert made the first BASE jump from El Capitan in Yosemite National Park and
were rewarded with broken bones for their efforts..
c. 1983 George Brett mentioned by
Trump today at his VFW Convention speech hit a game winning home run against
the Yankees only to have it disqualified for using excessive amounts of pine
tar with the result that the Yankees won the game but the victory was short-lived
as the Royals appealed to the Commissioner who ruled the game be replayed at
the point when Brett came to bat which resulted in a Royal victory when the
game was replaued.
d. 1987 in an age is only a state of
mind, Hulda Crook at 91 became the oldest person to climb Mt. Fuji, Japan’s highest peak.
e. 2001 Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, a
former Tsar when he was a child, was
sworn in as Prime Minister of Bulgaria, becoming the first monarch to be
elected by democratic vote rule a country from a different office.
