Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For July 1, 2018 Maxine Waters was in the limelight Saturday at an anti-Trump rally in Los Angeles vowing to impeach the president (she obviously has not read the Constitution as she ignores the fact that her dislike of him does not constitute high crimes and misdemeanors); Trump railed on social media of the need to elect more Republicans to the Senate and/or end the 60 vote filibuster rule and blasted Blues for running on a platform of abolishing ICE; Mexicans are voting today and leftist AMLO is expected to win with his pledge to not support the U.S. fight against drugs and to not block the flood of migrants through his country from Central America; Tulsi Gabbard has been caught with her hypocrisy pants down as she is dodging any debates in the Democratic primary to be held in Hawaii on August 11 although she roundly criticized the DNC for not arranging enough debates in the presidential 2016 primary; in Boise, Idaho at an apartment complex housing many refugees, Charles Kinner of Los Angeles has been arrested for stabbing nine residents there; annual airline ratings are out and not a single U.S. airline ranked in the top twenty which should come as no surprise given the lack of leg room and absence of any food service in coach; on the refugee front, some encouraging news as almost 500 Syrian refugees currently in Lebanon have been cleared to return; Reuters Breaking News Editor Rob Cox who blamed Trump for the shooting of the five journalists at The Capital Gazette has since apologized but still may face disciplinary action; in Chicago through June 30, 2018, 1392 people mostly of color have been shot by mostly people of color, of whom 219 have died (when will Chicago get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of people of color by people of color?).

Reflections on the CIA’s Phoenix Program: “From 65-68 U.S. and Saigon intel services maintained an active list of VC cadre marked for assassination. Phoenix Program for 69 called for "neutralizing" 1800 a month. About one third of VC targeted for arrest had been summarily killed. Security committees established in provincial interrogation centers to determine fate of VC suspects, outside of judicial controls. Green Berets and navy SEALs most common recruits for Phoenix Program.
