January 31, 2019 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Day Appreciate Your Social Security Check Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For January 31, 2019 The death from from the arctic vortex that has descended on the Midwest with some  areas being hit with -40 to -65 degree temperatures due to the wind chill factor has risen to at least 10 people is finally leaving us with temperatures expect to rise above 0 in the coming days; Katy Tur a typical slanted “journalist” from the Mostly Slanted News Biased Company made a fool out of herself by claiming there is no middle class in America; Bobbsey Twins in the Senate Harris and Feinstein from the left are in a major snit fit over Trump’s nomination of 2 conservative judges to the ultra left 9th Circuit which leads all circuits in terms of being overturned by SCOTUS due to its rulings that defy the Constitution  (regardless of what happens in 2020 Trump will have significantly realigned the federal judiciary to a more Constitutional leaning); on the Virginia infanticide front the co-sponsor of Blue Representative Tran’s bill to permit abortion up to the moment of birth state she had not read the bill and did not understand the implications (we condemned the Third Reich for euthansing individuals who had mental problems and we should rise up in utter rejections to oppose Blues like Cuomo who support infanticide up to the moment of birth); on the border security front and a wake up call to the Blues who in their desire for more potential voters, legal or otherwise, support open borders, the Border Patrol announced the arrest of an illegal trying to smuggle enough fentanyl to kill 57 million Americans; on the Blue war on women front the Blues with only 17 of its caucus with spines to vote no voted against a move by Reds to deny federal workers disciplined for sexual harassment from getting a raise with the socialist troika of AOC, Rashida Tliab and Omar IIham voting with the majority; Connecticut which is a failed state when it comes to taxes is now considering sales taxes on groceries and prescription drugs (when will our “leaders” get a wake up call to spend less and tax less or in the case of Connecticut watch more and more people and companies leave the state); the California Parole Board recommended parole for Leslie Van Houten one on the Manson followers how participated in the gruesome murder of a very pregnant Sharon Tate to move the issue of her release to leftist Gavin Newsom (since he will imitate Jerry Brown on fiscal matters of more spending he should ape his predecessor and deny parole); as the Blues spiral further and further to the left, a slender reed of hope they might return to the party of JFK as mayor of South Bend and potential presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg slammed Rep. IIlhan Omar  for her comparison of Israel to Iran.
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances,  music links to Flo Rida featuring T-Low, factoids of interest for this day in history, the fact that you are blessed by not having a onychocrytosis and a relevant quote from Tony Snow on Social Security,  secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like college graduations, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. You need only contact me for details.

2.  Appreciate Your Social Security Check Day—celebrating the issue of the first Social Security check on this day in 1940 to Ida May Fuller in the amount of $22.54; sadly if we do not reform Social Security we may be in less than a decade or so commemorating the end of Social Security.
3. 2008 Number One Song— the number one song on this day in 2008 on a run of 10 weeks in that position was “Low” by Flo-Rida feat. T-Low. Here is a recording of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tO9rtkNkKMg
4. Word of the Day—today’s word of the day as we move from words beginning with “n” to words beginning with “o” is “onychocryptosis” which means an ingrowing toenail which describes to a tee the pain being inflicted on mainstream America by the denizens of the Swamp.
5. To Steal Home And Break The Barrier—celebrating the birth on this day in 1919 of Jackie Robinson Number 42 who broke the color barrier in Major League Baseball and among other stats set the record for stealing home base at 19. Sadly he died way too early in 1972 from a heart attack.

b. 1945 Private Eddie Slovik had the dubious distinction of being the only American soldier since the Civil War of being executed for desertion.

Reflections on coming crisis in Social Secuity: “Today there are about 40 million retirees receiving benefits; by the time all the baby boomers have retired, there will be more than 72 million retirees drawing Social Security benefits.” Tony Snow, noted journalist, commentator and press secretary under George W. Bush who died way too early of colon cancer at 53.

January 30, 2019 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Fred Korematsu Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For January 30, 2019 The arctic vortex that has descended on the Midwest with some  areas being hit with -40 to -65 degree temperatures due to the wind chill factor and has killed 2 people, caused Amtrak to cancel train service through Thursday in and out of Chicago and in many areas caused the Post Office to cancel deliveries (in Antarctica the temperature was a balmy 23 degrees); the only silver lining in this freeze out if living in Minneapolis there are 11 miles of temperature controlled skyways between buildings in 80 city blocks enabling someone to park one’s car underground and walk to one’s destination without ever stepping outside; last Saturday the Navy commissioned the USS Michael Monsoor, a Zumwalt Class destroyer named after a Navy Seal who gave his life protecting his fellow soldiers by falling on a grenade in 2006 during Iraqi Freedom; Anastasia Vekukevich a Belarus model who has claimed she had dirt on Trump colluding with the Russians admitted she lied in order to be released from a Thai jail; Joseph Alcott the alleged Washington, D.C. Antifa leader has been charged with aggregate assault on 2 Marines on November 17 (if guilty this thug and his supporters should have the book thrown at them); hard to believe by advisers to HRC has indicated that she is still considering running in 2020; Virginia is trying to imitate New York’s abortion stance by introducing a bill to allow abortion right up to the moment of birth (talk about immorality how can killing a fetus that is starting its passage through the birth canal not be viewed as infanticide?); we will soon see whether Pelosi and Schumer were lying to the American people when they indicated that they would negotiate in good faith on a wall if the government was opened as a Congressional Panel from the House and Senate Appropriations Committee are meeting today to start negotiations (if the Blues open their ears and listen to the Border Patrol or visit the border how can they not agree to physical barriers)?
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances,  music links to Beyonce, factoids of interest for this day in history, the fact that you are blessed with ontal perceptions  and a relevant quote from Fred Korematsu on interment of Japanese-Americans on abstract art,  secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like college graduations, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. January 29, 2019 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Seeing Eye Dog Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For January 29, 2019 Roger Stone appeared in federal court today to defiantly plead not guilty while in the MSM only the sounds of silence over the Gestapo like overkill tactics of his arrest; Howard Schultz the ex CEO of Starbucks has announced his candidacy as an Independent for the president and immediately slammed the illegal alien queen for her plan to eliminate the insurance industry with Medicare for all (the erstwhile darling of the left for his progressive policies on minimum wage, stock options and tuition assistance at Starbucks was immediately slammed by the MSM and the leftist coven at The View); troubling news out of China that the Chinese have been expanding their AI capabilities in the military sphere and may be surpassing the U.S. which makes Google’s cooperation with the Chinese in opening an AI research center in China while not wanting to work with the U.S. military even more troubling; the march to the left by the Blues continues unabated as the House will soon eliminate “so help you God” from the oath of persons testifying before the House; on the medical front a team of Israeli scientists announced they are on the verge of perfecting a cure for cancer; SOTUS is on for next Wednesday and Stacey Abrams the defeated Blue candidate for governor of Georgia will give the rebuttal; a dog may be man’s best friend but not in Tehran where walking a dog in a public place will soon be prohibited; Bloomberg who is seriously considering running slammed AOC over the unreality of her Green Deal eliminating fossil fuels and the illegal alien supporter queen for her plan to eliminate private insurance with universal Medicare; the number 5 House Democrat Hakeem Jefferies has indicated that he would support fencing in areas where it would be appropriate (hopefully more Blues are coming to the realization of the idiocy of Pelosi’s claim that a wall is immoral); on the 4th Amendment front an armed robber at a Family Dollar store in Atlanta was shot and killed by a customer.

Reflections on the Gulf War by HRH General Khaled Bin Sultan:  “Instead, we have a general who quotes Clausewitz but who has to take a holiday after the war "to recover my composure after the stress of the great events in which I had played a part." He often suffered, he says, "from nightmares about fighting, about death... Had I done a good job? I leave this to the judgement of my contemporaries - and to history." Not bad, really, for a man who - save for his foray to al-Khafji during the battle - spent most of the war in the basement of the Saudi Ministry of Defence.” Desert Warrior: A Personal View of the Gulf War by by HRH General Khaled Bin Sultan with Patrick Seale Sinclair-Stevenson

January 28, 2019 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Data Protection Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For January 28, 2019 The illegal alien supporter queen announced her candidacy appropriately in sanctuary city Oakland where the mayor of Oakland warned illegals of an ICE raid promising Medicare for all but not revealing the trillions we could not afford it would cost or the deterioration in medical care it would entail; Harris’s fallacy of the effects of an insecure border came into clear focus as 13 people ODed from fentanyl with one person dying that a wall might have prevented; fortunately for Florida residents, Andrew Gillum was defeated in his run for governor as the ethics watchdog in that state has found probable cause that he violated 5 out of 6 ethics complaints against him for taking lobbyist funds for trips and other personal expenses (if true this man deserves a lengthy prison sentence and the Democrats in that state should be castigated for picking a man of such dubious character to run as governor); on the climate change front the Midwest is being hit with temperatures falling well below freezing and snow hitting the Northeast and the South; on the 2nd Amendment front a good Samaritan with a pistol stopped a man driving on the Massachusetts Turnpike with a man holding on for dear life that he had tried to run over (amazing bit of judicial lenience as the driver who has a lengthy rap sheet was released on $500 bail); ex-Starbucks CEO Howard Schulz is contemplating a run for president as an independent which would be a disaster for the Blue wanna-bes; the Trump organization is in the immigration news for hiring and now firing illegal aliens with false green cards and social security cards at its golf courses (e-verity and guest worker visas are the solution to this problem).
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances,  music links to Mario USA Africa, factoids of interest for this day in history, the fact that you will not need someone well versed in oneirodynia and a relevant quote from Jackson Pollock on abstract art,  secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like college graduations, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. 4. Word of the Day—today’s word of the day as we move from words beginning with “n” to words beginning with “o” is “oneirodynia” which means the study of nightmares which in the political arena we will not need as leftists like Warren or Sanders will probably not get their party’s nomination.
5. To Drip To Death—celebrating the birth on this day in 1912 of noted abstract art painter Jackson Pollock whose drip technique was spectacular but who battled alcoholism and died far too early in a single car accident into a tree while driving drunk on August 11, 1956.

January 26, 2019 Ridley's Believe It Or Not International Customs Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For January 25, 2019 On the  illegal front really disturbing news that should outrage all Americans even Blues and create another reason for enhanced border security as the Texas Attorney General announced that his office has revealed 95,000 non citizens on voter rolls, of whom 58,000 have voted (Democrats have pooh poohed the findings most likely because of their belief that illegals vote Democratic); Pelosi and Schumer are having orgasms over the indictment of Roger Stone ignoring the fact that its contains not one wit of claims of collusion with the Trump campaign or Trump (every time she opens her deceiving partisan biased mouth time to go for the ear plugs https://www.nationalreview.com/2019/01/roger-stone-indictment-underscores-no-trump-russia-conspiracy/  On the 2nd Amendment front, SCOTUS announced it will hear a case in which the 2nd Circuit upheld New York City’s law banning the transport of unloaded and locked firearms outside the city (the ruling represented an assault on the Heller case and hopefully with Kavanaugh on board the court will be overturned); on the Putin saber rattling front a pair of Russian TU-160 supersonic bombers buzzed the North America coast forcing U.S. and Canadian jets to scramble to intercept; Maduro is backtracking his demand that the U.S. pull out its diplomats (total failed state which if it fires on its citizens look for the U.S. to ban the import of Venezuelan oil which would be totally crippling to the country); rabid anti-Semite and jihadist Ilhan Omar is in the news pleading for leniency for 9 men arrested for trying to join ISIS (she should be expelled for violating her oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic and Pelosi should have her head examined for putting her on the Foreign Affairs Committee).
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Outkast, factoids of interest for this day in history, the fact that Trump is trying to reduce the omphalism in the Swamp and a relevant quote from William Ginsburg on his fears over the fate of Monica Lewinsky,  secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like college graduations, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. The Clintons will finish their term, receive their pensions, serve on boards. This will ultimately be a blip in the history of Clinton's eight-year presidency. Monica is just beginning her life."William Ginsburg, Monica Lewinsky's attorney on his fears for her future which given the millions the Clintons have made with Hillary’s quid pro quo were well founded.

January 25, 2019 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Macintosh Computer Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For January 25, 2019 A shooting spree starting in a bar near the Penn State campus has resulted in the deaths of 4 people including the shooter; in a chilling moment of prosecutorial over kill Roger Stone’s home in Florida was assaulted by a SWAT team with guns drawn to be arrested in the early morning hours today to be arrested on numerous counts of obstruction of justice and lying to investigators (defiantly after being released on bail amidst heckling chants of Lock Him Up” he slammed the political nature of the arrest and swore he will not be a false witness against Trump which means he has indicated that Mueller can take a hike in his quest to flip him); hit with a growing sick out at LaGuardia and Newark International Airports of TSA and flight controllers, Trump signed a bill to fund the government until February 15 but no funding for a wall to allow both sides to negotiate funding of border security (Nancy and Chuck need to get their act together an come to grips with the fact anyone with an IQ higher than room temperature recognize the need for physical barriers as Trump has thrown the gauntlet down that failing a compromise he will declare a national emergency an move forward to build a wall); Pelosi is being rightfully slammed for appointing Blue anti-Semite Muslim Ilhan Omar to the House Foreign Affairs Committee despite her rabid anti-Semite views.
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Eminem, factoids of interest for this day in history, the fact that you are subject to obrophilous but wishing you would have the chance to use the characteristic and a relevant quote from Vincent Bugliosi on murderers like Manson,  secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like college graduations, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. 4. Word of the Day—today’s word of the day as we move from words beginning with “n” to words beginning with “o” is “ombrophilous” which means tolerant of large amounts of rainfall which is what you have to be if you live in Southeastern Alaska or the Olympic Rain Forest in Washington.

b. 1995 the Soviet Union almost launched its ICBMs after it mistook a Norwegian 4 stage sounding rocket for a missile launched by a Trident submarine; Russia’s nuclear football was activated and delivered to President Boris Yeltsin who must not have been drinking that day and elected not to retaliate.

Reflections on hideous murders like Manson: “Since we place so much value on human life, why do we glorify, in a perverse sort of way, the extinguishment of life? The answer to that question, whatever it is, is at least a partial answer to why people continue to be fascinated by Hitler, Jack the Ripper—Manson.” ― Vincent Bugliosi the district attorney who tried the case that won convictions in the Tate Labianca murders and author of Helter Skelter: The True Story of the Manson Murders He passed away on June 6, 2015 after successfully prosecuting 105 out of 106 felony trials including 21 murders.   Please enjoy the poems on events of interest on my twitter account below (if you like them, retweet and follow me) and follow my blogs. January 24, 2019 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Beer Can Appreciation Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For January 24, 2019 On the illegal alien front, news that the FBI has indentified 100 Salvadorean criminals in latest migrant wave (Pelosi get your hear out of the sand, open your ears and eyes and fund a wall; Four Americans in Carson, Nevada would be alive today if we had a secure border that would have prevented this illegal alien scumbag Wilbur Martinex-Guzman from entering this country and killing them in a crime spree; Trump showed some class by respecting tyrant Nancy Pelosi’s position as Speaker of the House to be able to control when and if the president could address a joint session of Congress although this rabid partisan hack should be thoroughly condemned for her acts and members of her caucus should rise up from being cowards and condemn her and condemn her again for not coming to the table to negotiate with the president on border security; you may as you should disagree with the policies of AOC but at least she has the spine her other colleagues lack to stand up for her convictions and deny the tyrant that heads up the House, Nancy Pelosi by voting against her bill to reopen the government but not defunding ICE (a sign that Pelosi will be held hostage by the growing progressive wing of her party); Alyssa Milano continues her destructive course to create fan boycott from deplorables by doubling down on her comments that MAGA hats are the new Klu Klux Klan hood (Milano what about the anonymity masks of violent Antifa rioters?); Kamala Harris may have egg on her progressive anti-Trump face with her praising of her former aide while she was California Attorney General who resigned after payment of $400,000 to a female staffer for his sexual harassment and also looked like an idiot for calling on Trump to open up Trump Tower to federal workers who are not receiving a paycheck due to Pelosi’s refusal to negotiate with Trump on border security; in a preview of the Democratic agenda to investigate as opposed to legislate, the House Oversight Committee has announced it will investigate the revocation of security clearances of such notable liars to Congress and the American people Brennan and Clapper.

January 23, 2019 Ridley's Believe It Or Not National Handwriting Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For January 23, 2019 In a childish temper tantrum, Nancy Pelosi has cancelled President Trump’s SOTUS scheduled for the 29th in the Capitol and the Senate votes tomorrow on two competing bills to open the government, one with wall funding which Trump supports but is problematic of getting 7 Blue votes and the other which has no funding and funds DHS until the 9th of February which Trump will veto (shutdown will continue because the only phrase Schumer and Pelosi can mouth is “dead on arrival” or “it’s a nonstarter” even as another massive caravan of illegals from Honduras is headed our way); chaos in Venezuela as the President of the National Assembly has named himself interim president, the U.S. has withdrawn recognition of Maduro as the lawful president and warned him that he will be accountable for death and destruction inflicted on citizens (as the largest customer for Venezuelan oil we have the ability to make good on that threat)  and he has severed diplomatic relations with the U.S. and ordered all Americans and diplomats out of the country within 72 hours (AOC really needs to bone up on the chaos of socialism there with the astronomical inflation rate that has destroyed people’s ability to buy basic necessities); Samatha Gutherie of the Today Show was slammed by leftist tweets for having Nicholas Sandman on the show as well as being slammed by conservatives for biased and aggressive questioning (the rush to judgment against the Covington students was not warranted especially when a full video surfaced showing that they were not disrespectful but the targets
of profanity laced insults); Twitter has suspended the account of @2020fight that promoted the viral video claiming the Covington students were harassing a Native American activist; Andrew Cuomo is in seventh heaven after signing a bill in New York that legalizes abortion right up to birth (no wonder the Catholic Church is publicly questioning his faith); on the reptilian brain front, evidence that the reptilian brain does not respect race, gender or party as it claimed another victim, Sheila Jackson Lee who announced she is resigning as chairperson of the Black Caucus Foundation due to a former staffer’s lawsuit against her for firing her after she had been raped by one of Lee’s supervisors.
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Destiny’s Child, factoids of interest for this day in history, the fact that you do not suffer from oligophrenia and a relevant quote from the Pearl family on Daniel Pearl,  secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like college graduations, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient.
