1. Wear Red Day--observed not to encourage men and women to vote Republican but to create awareness over heart attacks that are killing women almost as frequently as men.
2. Send A Card To A Friend Day--non valentines like cards this time of year and the retailers could use the space to put in more Valentine’s Day Cards.
3. Independence Day--celebrating in Grenada independence from England and with that independence becoming the only former English colony other than Canada in the War of 1812 to be invaded and conquered less than 10 years after at the direction of President Reagan whose day we celebrated yesterday.
4. Give Kids A Smile Day-- celebrating not smiling at your kids (always a great
idea) but making sure they have the dental work to be able to smile--fooled me.
