Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For August 8, 2018 The rising star of the Blues, Socialist Ocasio-Cortez, and the aging star of the Blues, Socialist Bernie Sanders, have flamed out as most of those supported by them have failed to secure their party’s nomination in the primaries; Gates was subject to grilling cross examination on his infidelity and whether he had engaged in multiple liaisons (how much credibility does an embezzler like Gates have—0?); the US Navy has raised the alarm that Russian submarine activity is the highest it has been since the Cold War; Margot Kidder’s death at age 69 on May 13 of this year has been ruled a suicides; on the flip the House front Red Representative Chris Collins from New York has been indicted for insider trading but will continue to campaign as he denied all charges; the New York City Council has placed a one year freeze on new Lyft and Uber licenses to the dismay of customers; the Union County Sheriff’s office in North Carolina has announced the arrest of a teenager who held up at gunpoint a 9 year old’s lemonade stand for $17; Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, one of the Muslim extremists found at the compound in New Mexico with 3 women and 11 children, has been charged with training children to shoot up schools; on the California fire front, Forest Clark has been arrested for felony arson in the case of the Holy Fire that has burned 6 square miles in the Santa Ana Mountains and Yosemite has been closed indefinitely due to wildfires; in Chicago through August 7, 2018 1829 people mostly of color have been shot by mostly people of color, of whom 298 have died (when will Chicago get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of mostly people of color by mostly people of color and when will Emanuel who has been MIA resign or be voted out of office?)
