Ridley’s Believe It Or
Not For August 2, 2018 the New York Times has just hired tech writer Sarah Jeong despite her
Twitter history of anti-white tweets (no wonder Trump tweets against this liberal
fake news rag); on the witch-hunt front the judge in the Manafort trial has
castigated Mueller’s angry democrat team for hinting they may not call Manafort’s
cohort Gates as a witness without whose testimony there is no case; Charlie
Sheen. Infamous for his drug and alcohol induced meltdown is in court trying to
reduce his child support payments due to being “black listed” in Hollywood; on
the PETA front Los Angeles is moving forward to ban the sale of fur products;
Obama’s legacy took another beating as the Trump administration moved to freeze
proposed Obama fuel mileage regulations; the MSM is once again in the doghouse for
failing to cover the returns of 55 Americans from the Korean War (CNN deserves
its mantra of the Cack News Network and its star Jim Acosta deserves all the
condemnation he gets for grandstanding and trying to act as a journalist); through August 1, 2018, 1720 people
mostly of color have been shot by mostly people of color, of whom 278 have died
(when will Chicago get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true
racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of
people of color by people of color and when will Rahm Emanuel resign?).
As always,
I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Les

song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqZ0Sdz_V40
4. Word of the Day—today’s word of the day is “mollycoddle”
which means an effeminate man which does not describe our current president.
5. Trial of the Century Judge of the Century—celebrating the birth on this day in 1950 of Lance Ito who was
the presiding judge over murder trial of OJ Simpson.
On
this day in:

Declaration of Independence was
signed.

Reflections on the
First Gulf War: “It took the Gulf War to demonstrate that America did want more
than one friend in the Mideast, and also was willing to take and make major
risks to prevent a small Muslim country, Kuwait, from being overrun and in
effect stolen by Iraq.” Caspar Weinberger former Secretary of Defense under
President Ronald Reagan.
