Ridley's Believe It Or Not--March 10, 2014 Ititarod White Mountain Checkpoint

     In the next to last checkpoint, White Mountain, AK population 299 and  898 miles from the start, Jeff King has lengthened his lead to 58 minutes over Aliy Zirkle with a blistering pace of 7.5/mph from the previous checkpoint. Father and son Mitch (2013 winner) and Dallas Seavey are in third and fourth, 2 and 3 hours behind the leader Jeff King. Only 77 miles and one more checkpoint Safety, AK to go before finish line at Nome. Will update in the morning.  Definitely hope you put Iditarod on the bucket list next year.
