Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For October 25, 2018 On the pipe bomb front more packages delivered to prominent Democrats and anti-Trump critics like De Niro as the FBI is on an all hands on deck effort to uncover who has been sending the devices while the MSM with absolutely no facts has ignored Trump’s condemnation and jumped on the blame Trump bandwagon for the violence (do not be surprised if since the devices were not designed to explode that this may be a classic false flag designed by the left to damage Reds in the midterm); as the caravan which has swelled to 14,000 illegals trudges toward our southern border, the Pentagon has ordered hundreds of troops to the border (what is needed is an emergency session of Congress with the nuclear option in the Senate to reform our asylum law to require petitions for asylum to be file in seekers’ home countries at our consulates and if not immediate deportation or we will face even larger massive caravans from Central America); on the political correctness front, Megyn Kelly is in hot water with NBC for defending people who wear blackface masks on Halloween and may be yanked from her NBC morning show (she should have never left Fox and is looking at a $23 million annual salary loss); the New York Times that once was the paper that lived up to its logo of “All the News That’s Fit to Print” has stooped to new lows with its upcoming publication of a short story of Secret Service complicity with a Russian in the assassination of President Trump (no wonder Trump uses the charge of Fake News in criticizing the MSM); CIA director Gina Haspel has listened to the audio recording of Khashoggi’s murder in the Saudi consulate in Turkey and will brief the president (look for a dicey twist in the U.S. Saudi relations and possible push to have the Saudis remove the Crown Prince); on the sports front the Dodgers’ bull pen failed them once again as the Red Sox beat the Dodgers 4-2 to take a 2-0 lead in the World Series; Emanuel’s announcement that he will not seek reelection has not curbed the gun violence as through October 23, 2018, 2505 people mostly of color have been shot by mostly people of color, of whom 414 have died (when will Chicago get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of mostly people of color by mostly people of color).

Wear Purple for Domestic Violence Awareness Day—celebrated on the third Thursday of the third full week in the month of Thursday since 2010 to promote awareness of the disturbing fact that one in three women will be the victim of domestic abuse and one in four men will share the same fate and to promote means to end this tragedy.

Butcher of Lyon—bemoaning the birth on this day in 1913 of Klaus Barbie who rose to infamy as the head of the Gestapo in Lyon, France where historians calculated he was directly responsible for the deaths of 14,000 Jews and French resistance fighter; spirited out of Europe by the CIA to Bolivia to spy on Communist infiltration, he was finally extradited to France after the overthrow of Bolivian dictator Tejada where he stood trial, was convicted of crimes against humanity and sentenced to life in prison where he died from leukemia on September 25, 1991.
