Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For October 17, 2018 On the left is out of control front, a Democrat operative for a Soros funded group has been arrested for battery on the Republican candidate for governor’s campaign manager (I keep saying that the over the top rhetoric from the left is going to and has lead to violence against Reds; on the Deep State front, Natalie Edwards, a Treasury Official has been arrested with a flash drive in her hand for leaking Suspicious Activity Reports on Paul Manafort and Richard Gates (the Swamp is like a sieve when it comes to bureaucrats who despise Trump); Elizabeth Warren is on the brunt end of condemnation for her Cherokee Indian claim which her DNA test refutes and for which Blues condemn her timing and the Cherokee nation ridicules (identity politics at its worse to claim racial identity to advance one’s career—hope the voters of Massachusetts reject this fraud); troubling news from BuzzFeed that reported Spear Operations Group after receiving $1.5 million a month, recruited former elite U.S. soldiers to assassinate leaders and clerics in Yemen at the behest of the U.A.E.; on the food safety front Smithfield Foods halted production, sanitized its production line and threw out 50,000 pounds of meat after an employee urinated on the production line (maybe the company needs to review its bathroom break rules); on the binge drinking front, Budweiser in honor of its introduction of Natural Light in 1977 has introduced a 77 can case of Natural Light (students love it as it is a great way to circumvent bans of kegs at tailgate parties); on the social media front, Twitter has released 10 million Russian and Iranian backed tweets designed to sow discord on the electoral process in this country; Emanuel’s announcement that he will not seek reelection has not curbed the gun violence as through October 16, 2018, 2436 people mostly of color have been shot by mostly people of color, of whom 403 have died (when will Chicago get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of mostly people of color by mostly people of color).

e. 2018 the recreational use of marijuana was legalized in Canada, the second country to legalize.

   Reflections on a solution to the eradication of poverty: “For every challenge we face - unemployment, poverty, crime, income growth, income inequality, productivity, competitiveness - a great education is a major component of the solution.” Bruce Rauner, Red Governor of Illinois in a state that has large unfunded public pension liability and whose public schools in many parts of Chicago are a disaster.
