Not For May 2, 2017 Ryan tried to make
the proverbial silk purse out of a sow’s ear on the 5 month funding deal to
avert a government shutdown but in the eyes of the conservatives failed (as
long as the Reds do not have 60 votes unless the Senate operates on a simple
majority with Schumer as minority leader we have a dysfunctional partisan
government); Trump has invited the Philippine leader Duarte to the White House
which given his proclivity for killing drug dealers has the left in a frenzy; ironic
that on a day we are supposed to honor labor, protests around the nation advocating
open borders allowing massive immigration that would drive down wages and bring
in more drugs; finally after 8 years of neglect under Obama, the Trump
administration has announced to the V.A. that ineptness will not be tolerated
by firing Toby Matthew, the director of a V.A. Hospital in Shreveport,
Louisiana (why we don’t scrap the V.A. and treat veterans like people eligible
for Medicare is a complete mystery); two B-1 bombers are headed to Korea for
military drills which has prompted the obese madman’s regime to threaten that
we are on the brink of nuclear war (when does the world rise up as one and
eliminate this lunatic and his entire family?); airline CEO’s are being reamed
by Congressional hearings on customer service and overbookings; Alitalia has
failed to get union approval to a restructuring plan to reduce pay and cut jobs
and is headed to bankruptcy; in a good news story a surfer swept out to sea was
found after 32 hours floating on his surf board off the coast of Scotland;
Puerto Rico has failed to restructure its massive debt and the law suits by
bond holders have begun; almost
like a stuck record or a remake of Groundhog Day, Chicago style, the
carnage in Chicago continues unabated in April with a total of 46 killings in
for the month of April (24% higher than April of 2016) with
total shootings in 2017 through April 30
increasing by 15 to 1056 and the death toll stuck at 183 (God help those
poor minorities being shot mostly by minorities when the weather gets warmer
and the shooters’ aim gets really better and there is more daylight to find and
shoot victims) and yet nothing, absolutely nothing, appears to be occurring to
address this blight on blacks and minorities which is what racism from a black
mayor really looks like who appears to care only about the rights of illegal
aliens in his sanctuary city (when will Chicago residents through the
city council try to impeach this pathetic, inept mayor who seems not to care
that 90 percent of the homicides occurring in his city do not result in arrest ?).

A Rock—celebrating the birth on this day in 1972 of Dwayne Johnson
noted former professional wrestler and now successful actor known as the Rock
to his fans and friends.

Chernobyl was evacuated six days after the meltdown the one of the
nuclear cores at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
b. 2000 in a sad day for
MapQuest and Thomas Brothers President Bill Clinton signed an order removing
the restriction of GPS being available only to the U.S. military.
c. 2004 in revenge for
the massacre of 78 Christians in February, Christians living in Yelwa, Nigeria
slaughtered some 630 Muslims.
d. 2011 an ecoli
outbreak occurred in Europe, mainly in Germany, killing 30 people and sending a
large number to the hospitals.
e. 2011 Osama bin Laden
was shot and killed by Navy Seals in his house in Abbottabad, Pakistan and was fed
to the crabs somewhere in the Indian Ocean.
