Ridley's Believe It Or Not—September 22. 2014Trust your weekend went and the batteries are recharged and that you enjoy the holidays and factoids and quote from three centenarians with a smile on your sunscreened face, with an ice cream cone and/or a piece of white chocolate in your hand, blessed with a positive attitude, and secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for a memorable event, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem tailored to the event and the recipient.

          3. Hobbit Day – celebrating the birthdays of two Hobbits—Bilbo and Frodo Baggins.
          4. National Centenarians Day—celebrating those increasing number of humans who live to be 100 years or more—for the Alaskanpoet only 33 more years to go.
          5. National Ice Cream Cone/National White Chocolate Day—a great bookend of food holidays to splurge on; enjoy!
On this day in

“I try not to make a big fuss over things. I always said, ‘This too shall pass.’” Barbara Brody,102
