September 16, 2020 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Grito de Dolores

Ridley's Believe It Or Not September 16, 2020

CV World Cases: The CV pandemic across the planet continues with 319,033 new cases (a 1.08%  increase compared to a 1.21% increase yesterday) to bring the total over 29 million to 29,949,780 cases, 7,306,256  of  which  are active, 22,643,524 of which have been closed with 21,700,603 recoveries (95.84% compared to  yesterday’s 95.81%) and 942,921 deaths (4.16% compared to yesterday’s 4.19%) to continue the trend of increased recovery percentages and decreased mortality percentages.

CV USA Cases: New cases of 143,562 with total cases over 6 million at 6,671,960 (a 2.15% increase compared to yesterday’s 1.39% increase) with 2,519,558 active cases of which 14,124, on a downward trend with slight blips from a high of 19,155 on July 23  (14,118 yesterday and 15,881 on September 1), are in serious or critical condition as trend continues to go down, and 4,295,964 closures, 201,003 of which have been deaths (4.68% compared to yesterday’s 4.70%) and 4,094,961 of which have been recoveries (95.32% compared to yesterday’s 95.30%) (our death rate percentages continue to improve and are finally in single digits since Cuomo repealed on May 10 his order sending CV positive patients to nursing homes and ADL facilities and on a deaths per million population measurement at 607 ranks behind Peru (935), Belgium (856), Spain (647), Bolivia (636) Chile (630),  Brazil (626), Ecuador (621), and UK (613)  and only slightly worse than Italy (590) and Sweden (579) that never closed its economy down like we did and Mexico (555) which announced it has run out of death certificates due to surge in deaths. We have now conducted 94,342,847 tests (now at 284,181/M compared to Russia at 283,663/M so Trump is telling truth that we conduct more tests in number and on a per capital basis but for the U.K. at 301,957/M).
Non CV Case News: Given Pelosi’s tyranny over her Blue Caucus, it may be a forlorn hope but some indication that moderate Blues (sadly very few in number now) are urging Pelosi to drop her resistance to a stimulus bill and come to the table as 25 Blues and 25 Reds have proposed a $1.5 trillion deal which merited a thumbs down from Pelosi and her House leadership lackeys; as Oregon, like Washington and California, is struggling with wildfires with 8 dead and 1300 square miles in flames but compounded by the difficulty of thieves and  looters breaking into evacuated homes, a woman got out of her car and made a citizen’s arrest with a drawn gun of a man crossing a road carrying only matches and no ciigarettes until police arrived https://www.foxnews.com/us/oregon-wildfires-woman-seen-holding-suspected-arsonist-at-gunpoint; Chuck-E Cheese the kid restaurant/fun arcade parents learned to despise as their cash disappeared into the arcade machine has filed for Chapter XI; Rachel Maddow who is still grieving that the allegations of the Steele Dossier proved to be false got caught with her program in the bias jar showing photos of children separated from the parents on the border by Trump when the photos displayed were from the Obama Administration; the troika of deception, lies and anti-Trumpism, Comey, Brennan and Clapper will be soon facing subpoenas to testify before the Senate on the Russian collusion probe; on the mask front, a group of anti-mask shoppers in a Target store in Florida was marching through the store yelling at shoppers to take their masks off; Hurricane Sally got off her Mustang and was downgraded to  Tropical Storm Sally but she is still bringing massive amounts of rain and flooding.

Chicago/Baltimore Gun Violence: In Chicago as of September 14, 2020, the number of shootings increased to 3,021 of whom 515 have died (total travesty of BLM when blacks are shot and killed by blacks in droves and only sounds of silence and complete absence of any protests in front of City Hall demanding action to curb the killings and shootings); Baltimore with a fraction of Chicago’s population and hoping against all hopes that 2020 will not be a record in terms of deaths but now seems to be shooting less and killing less and is now 276 behind Chicago at 239 murders (when will Chicago and Baltimore get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of people of color by people of color and when will the left focus on the problem of color on color shootings in Blue run cities which  have  been way  more  deadly and way more numerous than shootings by  police or by random mass shootings which occur much less.

Reflections on Father Hildago; Grito de Delores: “….the essential spirit of the message is... 'My children: a new dispensation comes to us today. Will you receive it? Will you free yourselves? Will you recover the lands stolen three hundred years ago from your forefathers by the hated Spaniards? We must act at once... Will you defend your religion and your rights as true patriots? Long live Our Lady of Guadalupe! Death to bad government! Death to the Gachupines!’”Michael Meyer author along with others of  The Course of Mexican History.
