Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For November 6, 2018 After $5 billion
has been spent it is time to join the 36 million who have early voted and go to
the polls and vote to determine how this most divided nation will elect its
leaders to govern us for the next two years; in a reverse moment déjà vu, a
brave and small band of Hollywood conservatives are coming out to brave boycott
to support conservative clients; the
closeness of many races may mean we will not know for many days the winners; on
the crime front police are advising car owners to place their smart keys in an
old coffee car, microwave, freezer or refrigerator to prevent thieves from
hacking into the smart key and stealing the car; disgraced Comey is in the news touting the
Blue Wave that is supposed to in his words occur today; Ocasio-Cortez once
again displayed her ignorance of economic reality when asked how America would
pay for the Medicare for all she is touting claiming we would just do it (this
socialist is bad news and a pox on her district when she wins); the Live Free
or Die state New Hampshire has on the ballot today a proposal to amend the
state constitution to prevent government from intruding into one’s personal
life to collect private information; on the death comes in many forms front
retired professional boxer from Argentina Mario Melio choked to death in a
croissant eating contest on the third croissant; on the how to piss off your
fans front, Sinead O’Connor has converted to Islam and tweeted that she will
not associate with white people as she finds them disgusting (how stupid can
someone who wants to sell records be?); Emanuel’s
announcement that he will not seek reelection has not curbed the gun violence
as through November 5, 2018, 2607 people mostly of color have been shot by
mostly people of color, of whom 430 have died (for two days in a row no gunshot
murder victims but still when will Chicago get serious about this carnage or is
this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind
eye to the slaughter of mostly people of color by mostly people of color).

Wave will do to our economy.
5. Need for a Better Helmet—celebrating the birth on this day in 1990 of Aaron Hernandez a
professional football player with the New England Patriots who saw his career
ruined by a murder conviction that resulted in his committing suicide in his
prison cell; it was revealed he was suffering from CTE sustained while playing
football.
On this day in:

Reflections on the scourge of malaria: “The
malaria parasite has been killing children and sapping the strength of whole
populations for tens of thousands of years. It is impossible to calculate the
harm malaria has done to the world.” Bill Gates, whose foundation has made
great strides in combating the deadly malaria parasite
