Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For February 2, 2017 “Mad Dog” Mathis in South Koreas indicated in no uncertain terms that any
nuclear attack on us or our allies South Korea or Japan would result in the Hermit Kingdom’s destruction
(one can only pray that the leadership of North Korea understands that this was
not a feckless red line in the sand empty threat); news headlines are that
Japan and the U.S. are working on joint efforts to create billions of dollars
in investment in U.S. and some 700,000 new jobs; Australia rejected keeping
over a 1,000 refugees that Obama in another f-bomb moment to the safety and
security agreed to accept (what was he thinking of and why did he not disclose
the secret agreement until almost three weeks after the election); in another
chilling reminder that radical Islam exists and is at war with civilization, a
French soldier on guard at the Louvre shot down a fanatic with a machete
yelling Allahu Akbar trying to gain entrance to attack museum visitors
(fortunately he was not killed so the French may be able to extract intel); after seeing the rioters rampage and suffer no
consequences at Cal, a déjà vu occurred at NYU by the free speech suppression
thugs who shut down a conservative speaker appearing on campus (violent
protests akin to riots are becoming the norm sadly on college campuses); watch
for bank stocks to soar on news that Trump will be rolling back by executive
order many of the regulations under Dodd-Franks that have strangled banks’ ability
to loan money to businesses; finally some positive news along our porous border
as the morale of the Border Patrol agents is soaring under Trump’s plan to
increase the number of agents by 5,000 and build the wall; as President Trump is raising the possibility of sending in
federal agents to Chicago, the number of mostly blacks who were shot by mostly blacks in Chicago in 2017 through
February 2 now totals 319 but from Mayor Emanuel and the BLM nothing but the
sounds of silence.

The four chaplains calmed the panic, handed out life jackets and when the life jackets gave out, handed over their own to four men who then might live and perished among the 672 who died.

a magician or scholar; behind every great judge like Justice White and Justice
Kennedy there is a great famulus like Judge Gorsuch.
5. A Fair Child Can Excel In TV—celebrating
the birth on this day in 1950 of Patsy McClenny, better known as Morgan
Fairchild, noted sultry TV actress in the late 70’s and early 80’s and like
many in Hollywood is a Blue and gave money to Hillary Clinton.

1. 1690 the colony
of Massachusetts issued the first paper money in the thirteen colonies.
2. 1870 the 15th
Amendment was ratified guaranteeing the right to vote to all American male
citizens, regardless of race.
3. 1917 the United
States broke off diplomatic relations with Germany one day after it announced
the recommence of unrestricted submarine warfare against the merchant ships of
neutral nations including the United States.
4. 1959 on a day which would later be
known as the “Day the Music Died” Buddy
Holly, Ritchie Valens and “the Big Bopper” Richardson were killed in a private
airplane crash near Clear Lake, Iowa.
5. 1995 Eileen Collins became the first woman
to pilot a Space Shuttle when the Discovery
blasted off at night for a rendezvous and fly around the Russian MIR Space
Station (we can cooperate with the Russians)..
Reflections on the sacrifice of the four chaplains: “Not for my safe return, that would not be
fair. Just pray that I shall do my duty…Never be a coward…and have the
strength, courage and understanding of men. Just pray that I shall be adequate.”
