Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For February 15, 2017 When it comes to pathetic Nancy Pelosi wins the prize for the most pathetic biased denizen of the swamp retweeting  a fake Flynn tweet (when will Blues dump this  pathetic biased ideologue); total chaos in the swamp as indignant Blues who on issues of oversight were totally asleep during the  disaster of 8 years of Obama are demanding investigation of Flynn’s dealings with the Russians; President Trump needs to implement his tax cut proposal really sooner than later as it is becoming crystal clear that Blues and the media are on a full court press to destroy his presidency before it even begins with complete idiotic ideologues like Maxine Waters already demanding impeachment; in yet another example of Iran thumbing its nose at the world and the UN Iranian general who is prohibited by UN resolutions from leaving the country General  Qassem Soleimani landed in Moscow on Valentine’s Day (Trump needs to call Putin and have a serious chat); the ex-wife of Labor Secretary nominee Pudzer is lashing out at critics of him with their false narrative of his being a wife abuser (hope turncoat Reds Collins and Murkowski are listening); shades of the Middle Ages on the border with Mexico as ICE finds a catapult to propel drugs over the border fence; first Yale renaming Calhoun College and now Princeton in the PC crosshairs for its Wilson School of Public Affairs and International Relations; as  President Trump is raising the possibility of sending in federal agents to Chicago, the number of  mostly blacks who  were shot by mostly blacks in Chicago in 2017 through February 14 now totals 423, 73 of whom including three small children have died but from Mayor Emanuel and the BLM nothing but the sounds of silence and the fact that of the shooting deaths in 2017  less than 3.5% of the homicide have cleared.

 1. 1879 President Rutherford Hayes signed legislation allowing women lawyers to appear before the United States Supreme Court.

 2. 1898 the battleship USS Maine exploded in Havana’s harbor which led to the Spanish American War.

 3. 1839 Giuseppe Zangara attempted to assassinate Franklin Roosevelt but missed and killed Chicago mayor Anton Cermak (on can only imagine how different World War II would have been had he been successful).

 4. 1949 Gerald Harding and Roland de Vaux began excavation of the Qumnam Caves where they would unearth the first 7 of the Dead Sea Scrolls.  

 5. 1972 sound recordings were given U. S. copyright protection.
