February 14, 2017 Ridley's Believe It Or Not V-Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For February 14, 2017 General Flynn has resigned over allegations that he misled Pence on his conversations with the Russian Ambassador; 75%  of the hundreds of illegals arrested by ICE had been convicted of violent felonies but the left is in an uproar over our moves to deport them; Yellin is testifying before Congress with predictions of more 25 basis point interest rate hikes; Kim Jong Un’s half brother was assassinated in Kuala Lumpur by two North Korean women who are still at large; Meryl Streep is back in the limelight attacking President Trump; news surfaced today of a Russian spy ship 70 miles off the Delaware coast; President Trump is not a happy camper with the leaks coming out of his administration to the media; in a looks like the drought is over moment, a dam near Oroville, California is overflowing forcing the evacuation of some 200,000 people down river with more rain expected later this week; as  President Trump is raising the possibility of sending in federal agents to Chicago, the number of  mostly blacks who  were shot by mostly blacks in Chicago in 2017 through February 13 now totals 412, 66 of whom have died but from Mayor Emanuel and the BLM nothing but the sounds of silence and the fact that of the shooting deaths in 2017  less than 3.5% of the homicide have cleared.
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Wiz Khalifa,  factoids of interest for this day in history, a quote from Emma Goldman, hoping that if you want to engage in natation today that you have access to an indoor heated pool, blessed with a positive attitude and secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like Valentine’s Day, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient.
