2. World Physical Therapy Day—celebrating one of the great professions on the planet that helps people recover aspects of life. 3. 1974 Number One Song—celebrating the number one song in 1974 on a brief run of one week in that position and perhaps a chilling precursor to the war on cops I Shot The Sheriff by Eric Clapton. Here is a link to Eric Clapton performing I Shot The Sheriff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRgcwT9X2J8
4. National Date Nut Bread Day—celebrating a great tasty treat tasty slice of bread that relegates Wonder Bread to the trash can. 5. Falling To Pieces Day—celebrating the birthday on this day in 1932 of the first woman to be admitted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, Patsy Cline, who died way too early like Buddy Holly whose birthday I noted yesterday in a plane crash at the age of 30.

e. 1988 Yellowstone National Park was closed for the first time in its history due to forest fires.
Reflections on Literacy Day: “You may have tangible wealth untold; caskets of jewels and coffers of gold. Richer than I you can never be. I had a mother who read to me.” Strickland Gillean, noted 20th Century American humorist and poet
