       b. 1951 on CBS TV, the first episode of America’s first soap opera series Search for Tomorrow aired.  
        c. 1964 Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Wilderness Act of 1964 aimed at preserving wilderness areas from development.
      d. 1995 Iranian-American Pierre Omidyar founded eBay in the living room of his house in Campbell, Ca.
       e. 2013 Microsoft purchased Nokia for $7.2 Billion.
