Believe It Or Not For June 3, 2020 The CV pandemic across the
planet continues with 125,691 new cases (a 1.96% increase
compared to a 1.22% increase yesterday) to bring the total to 6,531,372 cases, 3,035,727
of which are active, 3,495,645 of which have been closed with 3,110,270
recoveries (88.98% compared to yesterday’s 88.58%) and 385,375 deaths (11.02% compared to
yesterday’s 11.42%); in the U.S. which has the dubious distinction of leading
the world in total cases with new cases of 52,082 have brought total cases to 1,897,985 (a 2.82%
increase compared to yesterday’s .85% increase) with 1,137,319 active
cases of which 16,921 (16,940 yesterday) are in serious or critical condition
and 760,636 closures, 108,974 of which
have been deaths (14.33% compared to yesterday’s 14.92%) and 651,562
of which have been recoveries (85.56% compared to yesterday’s
85.19%) (our death rate percentages continue to improve since Cuomo repealed
his order sending CV positive patients on May 10 but remain higher than the
world probably due to idiots like Cuomo sending positive CV patients into
nursing homes to infect the residents and staff who then die) with 19,001,528
tests; in a wheel of justice moves slowly but moves moment, Chauvin’s charges
have been upgraded to 2nd degree murder and the other 3 officers have been
charged with aiding and abetting 2nd degree murder and 2nd
degree manslaughter and abetting the murder (if convicted and not shivved while
in prison may die of natural causes and not be released); enhanced police on
the streets and national guardsmen meant that riots, looting and arson were
rarely seen yesterday and last night but for many small business already
hammered by the virus damage already caused by the riots may well mean that they
are closed for good and will not reopen (the Blues and the elite are so quick
to contribute to bailing out the rioters but where are the contributions to rebuild
the small businesses that are the foundation of economic well being in our
communities—MIA); when will the citizens of Baltimore demand integrity and
ethics in their mayor as expected winner in the Blue primary for mayor, Sheila
Jackson, a former mayor convicted of embezzlement is leading in the election to
replace former mayor Pugh was sentenced to 3 years for fraud and had to resign;
when will MSNBC come to the realization that Rachel Maddow misleads viewers and
her bias turns potential views off as her ratings continue to slide; the FBI
rats are turning on each other as the Andrew McCabe is slamming Rod Rosenstein
for lying to Congress on the Trump Russian probe; the new complement to the
left’s support of “Black Lives Matter” as celebs sign up to defund the police
must be that “property rights don’t matter” and police following Raleigh police
chief Deck-Brown’s edict to be put in harm’s way to prevent looting; in
Chicago, as of June 2, 2020, 1228 shootings ( 44 in one day increase) of whom 225
(only 3 in one day increase) have died (so much for the effectiveness of
Chicago’s stay at home order); Baltimore with a fraction of Chicago’s
population and hoping against all hopes that 2020 will not be a record in terms
of deaths is still 93 behind Chicago with 132 murders (when will Chicago and
Baltimore get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as
a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of people of
color by people of color and when will the left focus on the problem of color
on color shootings in Blue run cities which have been more deadly and more
numerous than random mass shootings?).

to commemorate the birth of Ignacio Ponseti on this day in 1914 who developed
the nonoperative method aptly called the Ponseti Method to cure club feet which
severely impact the ability to walk.

Number One Song— the number 1 song in 1943 on this day on
a run of 1 week in the position was “That Old Black Magic” by Glenn Miller and

Glenn Miller was brief as Miller joined the Army and after singing for numerous
big bands Skip ultimately moved to Florida doing some singing and selling used

of the Day—today’s word of the day is “palingman” which
means a seller of fish or eels brings with it a whole sense of aromas and
slimes.
5. Form
A Chain Pronto--celebrating the birth on this day in 1930 of
Joe Coulumbe, noted Stanford grad who ran Pronto which was Rexall Drug’s answer
to 7-11 and when Rexall wanted to sell the chain, Coulumbe bought it, renamed
it Trader Joe’s, expanded it without its weighing scales at the cash register
and sold in Theo Albrecht, co-founder of Aldi Markets and continued to run it
as CEO until retirement in 1988. He died this year on February 28, 2020.

in a time to get out of Dodge moment Jack Jouette began his 40 mile midnight
ride to to Richmond to warn Governor Thomas Jefferson and the Virginia
Legislature of an impending raid by Banastre Tarleton, infamous for atrocities
against civilians and Continental soldiers.
b. 1980
an explosive device was set off the base of the Statue of Liberty by unknown
perpetrators but suspected by the FBI to be Croatian nationalists.
c.
1992 aboriginal land rights were granted to Australia’s aborigines by Australia’s
Supreme Court in the case of Mabo v. Queensland (no2).
d.
2013 the trial of Bradley Manning (now known as Chelsea Manning) for leaking
classified material of the U.S. Army began; Manning was ultimately convicted
and ordered to serve 35 years which Obama 3 days before leaving office commuted
to 7 years starting from Mannings’ initial date of confinement so Manning was
released on May 17, 2017.

2017 3 Islamic terrorists drove a van into pedestrians on London Bridge and
then exited the vehicle and began stabbing people before being shot dead by police;
killing 8 and wounding 48, including 4 unarmed police officers.
