September 11, 2018 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Patriot Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For September 11, 2018 On the 17th  anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the failed attack on the White House thwarted by the passengers of Flight 93 brought down as they stormed the flight cabin into a field in Pennsylvania;  Hurricane Florence now a Cat 4 and expected grow to a Cat 5 is causing South Carolina to order the evacuation of 1.5 million people from the coast and President Trump to declare an emergency; Steve Bannon revealed on  Fox that he believes up to a dozen Trump Administration officials hell bent on sabotaging the Trump Agenda are the authors of the anonymous Op-Ed (these traitors and criminals need to be uncovered, stripped of any security clearances, fired and referred for criminal prosecution simultaneously with Trump declassifying the FISA Warrant applications and ordering the DOJ and FBI to turn over to Congress all material subpoenaed by the House and Senate in an unredacted format); three vending machines capable of dispensing crack cocaine pipes have appeared in Suffolk County to the dismay of residents; Andy Kim is the latest Democratic poster child for the ends justify the means so prevalent in the Democratic Party by sending out fliers boasting falsely that he worked for Republicans as a high level security adviser trying to pass himself off as a bipartisan candidate as opposed to a clone of Nancy Pelosi; in Chicago, Emanuel’s announcement that he will not seek reelection has not curbed the gun violence as through September 9, 2018, 2146 people mostly of color have been shot by mostly people of color, of whom 346 have died (when will Chicago get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of mostly people of color by mostly people of color).
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Chicago, factoids of interest for this day in history, the fact that you do not possess mutivity when comes to the truth, and a relevant quote from Sandy Dahl on lessons learned from 9/11, secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like college graduations, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. 3. 1982 Number One Song— the number one song in 1982 on a run of 2 weeks in that position was “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” by Chicago. Here is a recording of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqq3tW3iACw

5. To Argue Before Scotus--celebrating the birth on this day in 1940 of Ted Olson former Solicitor General of the United States who was considered become a nominee for a Justice of the Supreme Court and sadly whose wife was aboard the plane that crashed into the Pentagon on 9/11.
