Ridley's Believe It Or Not November 13, 2020
CV World Cases: The CV pandemic across the planet continues with 713,291 new cases (a 1.35% increase compared to a 1.16% increase yesterday) to bring the total over 53 million to 53,602,297, 14,860,531 of which are active, 38,741,766 of which have been closed with 37,434,898 recoveries (96.63% compared to yesterday’s 96.61%) and 1,306,868 deaths (3.37% compared to yesterday’s 3.39%) to continue the trend of increased recovery percentages and the trend of increased recovery percentages.
CV USA Cases: New cases of 372,105 with total cases over 11 million at 10,633,715 (a 3.50% increase compared to yesterday’s 3.21% increase) with 3,995,086 active cases of which 31,823 (7.97% of active cases which must be a reporting error), recently on a disturbing upward trend with slight blips from a high of 19,155 on July 23 (18,718 yesterday and 15,881 on September 1), are in serious or critical condition as trend has shifted and may be continuing to go up, and 7,010,734 closures, 249.443 of which have been deaths (3.56% compared to yesterday’s 3.59%) and 6,761,291 of which have been recoveries (96.44% compared to yesterday’s 96.41%) (our death rate percentages continue to improve and are finally in single digits since Cuomo repealed on May 10 his order sending CV positive patients to nursing homes and ADL facilities and on a deaths per million population measurement at 752 ranks behind Belgium (1197), Peru (1058), Spain (872), Brazil (772), Chile (769), Argentina (767), UK (754 which has now passed us despite leading world in testing) and Bolivia (752), and only slightly worse than (Mexico (750), Ecuador (730). Italy (730), newly added to the list France (672) and Sweden (609) that never closed its economy down like we did and we have now conducted 1,691,941 more tests to bring total to 165,146,736 tests (now at 497,847/M compared to Russia at 461,417/M so Trump is telling truth that we conduct more tests in number and on a per capital basis for nations (other than those nations that contain small populations like Bahrain, Denmark, Israel, Singapore and UAE) but for the U.K. which remains off the testing charts with tests at 557,475/M). Non CV Case News: Trump appeared in the Rose Garden to announce the Pfizer vaccine will be ready in April for rollout to the public as Governor Cuomo attacked the plan as flawed and is in contact with Blue Governors to delay distribution until after Biden is inaugurated (news flash Andrew the American public is not one of your nursing homes to ape your deadly disaster of sending CV infected patients there); unless Cuomo gets off his high anti-Trump horse, the New York elderly who are among the most vulnerable to the CV will not be among the 20 million expected to be vaccinated in December unless his “panel of experts” approve (not satisfied with his nursing home slaughter, looks like Big Fredo wants more elderly corpses); in another preview of the leftist slant we will get from Biden if there is no Red Senate to thwart him, his leading favorite to take over Carson’s job at HUD is Rep. Bass who was an ardent supporter of Castro and eulogized a top member of the Communist Party USA as her “mentor and friend”; Pelosi’s plans for a gala dinner for her much smaller group of new Blue Representatives has been scaled back after a wave of media and social media criticism so the attendees will be picking up boxed dinners to then move to socially distanced quarters (wonder if she was moved by the uproar over Newsom’s breaking his own rules on 3 maximum family groups?); not only will the Georgia runoff elections break records in terms of donations, it will probably will break records of vitriol as Loeffler is blasting Warnock for his earlier dismissal of critique of socialism; Pocahontas has heard the left’s warpath drums and is calling on Biden to immediately by executive order discharge all student debt; Witless Whitmer probably emboldened by Biden’s upcoming war on fossil fuels has moved to shut down the Great Lakes Pipeline which brings Canadian oil to U.S. pipelines; the it’s a video queen Susan Rice is ranting that rumors of Hillary Clinton being appointed as our UN Ambassador would be an insult to Hillary (since the quid pro quo opportunities for the Foundation and Bill’s speaking fees would be minuscule compared to the millions raked in when she was Secretary of State, Rice is probably right). Chicago/Baltimore Gun Violence: In Chicago as of November 12, 2020, the number of shootings increased to 3,712 of whom 642 have died (total travesty of BLM when blacks are shot and killed by blacks in droves and only sounds of silence and complete absence of any protests in front of City Hall demanding action to curb the killings and shootings); Baltimore with a fraction of Chicago’s population and hoping against all hopes that 2020 will not be a record in terms of deaths but now seems to be shooting less and killing less and is now 352 behind Chicago at 290 murders (when will Chicago and Baltimore get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of people of color by people of color and when will the left focus on the problem of color on color shootings in Blue run cities which have been way more deadly and way more numerous than shootings by police or by random mass shootings which occur far much less.

e. 2915 3 ISIS terrorist groups attacked 3 locations in Paris, killing 130 people and wounding 416 before being shot and killed or detonating their suicide vests.
. Reflections on The Vietnam War Memorial known as “The Wall”: The first time I went to the wall years back, the one thing that I noticed was how quiet it was. I had been to all the other monuments and people were talking and laughing and taking pictures but it was so different at the Wall, it was just silence. It was almost as if people were on hallowed ground and they knew if they were ever going to be respectful this was where they were going to do it. Maybe it was the over 58,000 names that they seen etched in the granite or the enormity of the Wall, I don’t know but it by far was magical to me because I could go up to my brother’s name and not have people laughing around me, it was as if it were just him and I there. Things have changed since my first time there, seems to be more people but the one thing that has not changed is the quiet and the solemn faces of all who walk past the 58,000 names.” – Renee D., Michigan Having visited it and not served in Vietnam brought tears to me then just as it brings tears to this poet writing this.
