Times and all the Blues how rushed to judgment on demanding the resignation or
impeachment of Kavanaugh lead by the Rush to Judgment Queen who as a former AG
really should know better if she were not blinded by her rabid desire to become
president are all eating crow over the uncorroborated sexual assault by
Kavanaugh that the alleged victim has no recollection of (shame and
condemnation on all of them, especially the two NYT writers who are the author
of an upcoming book on the bogus assault and probably thought the salacious
news item would boost sales); the DOJ is using the confusion of Nadler’s
committee on whether or not his committee is pursuing an impeachment inquiry to
try to shoot down its attempt to get their hands on grand jury material which
is prohibited; Lori Loughlin may have second thoughts over her failure to plead
guilty especially as she has been dropped from “Full House” and may be facing
more jail time than the wrist slap Felicity Hoffman received; Perdue
Pharmaceutical, the opioid manufacturer and seller king and target of massive
law suits, has filed for Chapter XI Bankruptcy protection; the UAW which has just called a strike against
GM finds itself in hot water as the president of the UAW has been listed as an
unnamed conspirator in a criminal fraud investigation by the DOJ against the
union; Ilhan Omar’s Somali refugee infested district has become a terrorist
enclave while the Minneapolis Police Department is underfunded and undermanned
exposing the residents to mob attacks by Somali thugs (a ray of hope in that a
Minneapolis Police Officer has announced his intention to run against her); although
it is highly unlikely that any of the pro gun control wannabes will read the
book by Andrew Pollock, the father of Meadow Pollock, on of the Parkland School
shooting victims, they should as Pollock squarely places blame where it belongs
in the hands of Democratic policies; in Chicago through September 15, 2019, 2010
have been shot of whom 343 have died and in Baltimore with a fraction of
Chicago’s population, 245 have been murdered in Baltimore (when will Chicago
and Baltimore get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism
as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of people
of color by people of color and when will the left focus on the problem of
color on color shootings in Blue run cities which have been more deadly and
more numerous than random mass shootings?

1. International Day For The Preservation Of The Ozone Layer--created
by the U.N. General Assembly on December 19, 1994 naming September 16 as the
International Day For The Preservation Of The Ozone Layer to commemorate the
execution of the Montreal Protocol on Ozone which efforts seem to be working in
reducing the holes in the Ozone Layer previously reported.
2. Mexican Independence Day—celebrating the
Declaration of Dolores from the town of Dolores, Mexico by Father Hidalgo
proclaiming Mexico’s independence from Spain on this day in 1810.
3. 1936 Number One Song— the number one song
in 1936 on this day can’t be found on Google.
4. Word of the Day—today’s word of the day is “pone”
which means the person on the dealer’s right responsible for cutting the deck
of cards before dealer deals.
5. Birthdays and Albums Don’t Extend—celebrating
the birth on this day of noted Spaniard singer Camilo Sesto who was set to
release his latest album on September 13 and go on tour in the U.S. on the following
month but died in a hospital of heart failure on September 8, 2019.
On this day in:
a. 1959
the world’s first successful photocopier, the Xerox 914, was demonstrated on
live TV in New York City.
b. 1979
in a tribute to the human spirit seeking freedom from oppression, after several
attempts and a year and a half in planning, 8 East Germans from two families
escaped to West Germany in a homemade hot air balloon.
c. 1992 the trial of deposed
Panamanian Dictator Manuel Noriega ended with him being convicted racketeering
and money laundering and sentenced to 40 years in prison but was extradited to
Panama to face trial for crimes committed while dictator; he was convicted but
release under house arrest due to a brain tumor which was unsuccessfully operated
on and he died on May 29, 2017.
d. 2007 security guards in the
employ of Blackwater shot and killed 17 Iraqi civilians in Nisour Square, Baghdad.
The employees were tried, convicted and retried with the leader after his
retrial being sentenced to life in prison on August 14, 2019.
e. 2013 a retired petty officer third
class Aaron Alexis entered the Washington Naval Yard with a disassembled
shotgun with a sawed off barrel and reassembled it and shot and killed 12
people and wounded 3 others before being shot and killed by police.
