Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For June 1, 2019 The 12 fatalities in the Virginia Beach shooting by a disgruntled employed have just been identified as Ilhan Omar rants once again show she is no star blaming the NRA for the deaths (rush to judgment when no evidence that the shooter had not purchased the pistol legally and or had passed any background checks); Nunez slammed the redacted portion of the Mueller report which redacted Dowds request for a heads up of Flynn’s testimony “not only for the president but for the country” and denies “asking for confidential information”; while the MSM is in a frenzy over the possibility of an impeachment the fact of the matter is that less than 10% of the House is in favor (pro impeachers like Tlaib, Omar, AOC, Green, Sherman, Waters are like lemmings running off the cliff to their reelection doom); on the Blue Presidential campaign front, the illegal alien supporter queen appears to be falling flat as she is struggling to come up with a compelling reason why voters should vote for her (maybe if she would open her eyes and ears to the crisis at the border and work with Trump and the Reds to stem the tsunami of illegals that might change); on the abortion front, California governor Gavin Newsom after welcoming illegals with promises of medical care is rolling out the abortion welcome mat for abortion seekers; the gaffer in chief Joe Biden while campaigning told a 10 year old girl that “I bet you are as bright as you are good looking” which raised eyebrows; as the trade war between China and the U.S. seems destined to last longer, with collateral damage as the number of Chinese visiting the U.S. has fallen 5.8%; through May 30, 2019 951 people have been shot in Chicago of whom 187 have died (what makes the Smollett case so frustrating is that it forced the city of Chicago to allocate scarce detective resources when in only 9% of the shootings resulting in murder have a suspect being charged this year).
1. World Milk Day—created by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization to highlight the importance of milk and dairy products as a food source.
2. Global Day of Parents—created by the UN to honor the role of parents in the upbringing and nurturing of children..
3. 2017 Number One Song—the number one song on this day in 2017 on a run of 2 weeks in that position was “This Is America” by Childish Gambino. Here is a recording of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUa3GQI9m8I
4. Word of the Day—today’s word of the day as we move from words beginning with “o” to words beginning with “p” is “pauciloquent” which means of few words which is a trait most politicians lack.
5. Spin To Put—celebrating the birth on this day in 1945 of noted shot putter Brian Oldfield who revolutionized the sport with the Olfield Spin but whose body gave out on him in his later years and forced him to use a cane and wheelchair for mobility until his death at age 71.

Reflections on chemical weapons: “Rabid Chinese ideologists who point nuclear, chemical and biological weapons at us must have their reasons. And who is to say what their definition of victory might be? A smoldering wreck of a world, under firm totalitarian control, might be their ultimate aim. After all, communists have wrecked their own and other countries again and again without even using nuclear weapons.” Origins of the Fourth World War ―Jeffrey R.Nyquist
