Not For June 21, 2017 Blues
poured millions upon millions of dollars into the special election in Georgia and even sent in the Botox of youth
queen Nancy Pelosi and still managed to lose in their failed anti-Trump no tax
cuts message (Blues are now 0-4); the death spiral for Obamacare continues as
Anthem, the second largest healthcare insurer announced it plans to pull out of
Obamacare in Wisconsin and Indiana next year on the heels of an announcement
earlier this month that it was exiting Ohio (meanwhile back in the Swamp, the
Blues are doing everything they can to delay the Senate’s repeal and replace
bill); the rogue nation led by an obese lunatic appears to be readying for more
nuclear tests while China is still dragging its feet on helping us to shut this
nation completely down (the clock is ticking down for us to eliminate Kim
Jong-Un, his family and its nuclear and ICBM program by any means necessary);
the depravity of North Korea for in essence giving 22 year Otto Warmbrier a
death sentence for removing a poster from his hotel room is horrific beyond
belief (makes you wonder what the IOC is smoking with reports of a possibility of
North Korea co-hosting the 2018 Winter Olympics with South Korea); while the
Blues continue to wallow in the Russian collusion delusion no action from the
Swamp to address the issue of what to do about future attempts by Russians and
others to hack into out voting machines as they appeared to have done in 21
states (even if we have to return to paper ballots or offline voting devices
and delay the results this potential problem has to be solved); on the terror
front an airport cop in Flint was stabbed by an assailant in what preliminary
but not conclusive reports indicate as a terrorist attack; on the political
front where delusion among the Blues is the norm, reports surfacing that Eric
Holder is thinking of running for president; Rahm
Emanuel’s top priority for Chicago remains making it the premier sanctuary city
in the country as the carnage continues unabated in June with total shootings
in 2017 through June 20 increasing to 1637 and the death toll increasing to 290,
a major tragedy that the powers to be in Chicago seem to completely ignore
except for those fortunate enough to own a mortuary.

benefits of yoga; maybe before each committee hearing or meeting, the members
of Congress participating ought to be required to practice ten minutes of yoga
to promote flexibility of thought and elimination of angry rhetoric.

of the Day—today’s word of the day is “importune” which means to press or
urge someone with repeated requests which when it comes to compromise Congress
turns a deaf ear.
5.The
Man Who Will Be King—celebrating the birth on this day in 1982 of the man who will be
king as opposed to his father, who hopefully for the good of the British people
will not, Prince William.
On this day
in:
a. 1900 as part of the
Boxer Rebellion, China declared war on the United States, Britain, Germany,
France and Japan.
b. 1915 SCOTUS handed
down its decision in Guinn v. United States invalidating Oklahoma’s
grandfather clauses that had the effect of eliminating the ability of black
voters to cast their ballots.
c. 1964 three civil
rights workers, Andrew Goodman, Mickey Schwerner and James Chaney were murdered
by members of the Klu Klux Klan and in a first for its time, an all white jury
convicted several of the perpetrators of violated the victims’ civil rights but
the ring leader’s trial ended in a hung jury and he was not retried.
d. 1989 SCOTUS in the
case of Texas v Johnson ruled that burning of the American flag was
protected by the First Amendment.
e. 2005 in a
reaffirmation that the wheels of justice often move slowly but at least they
move, Edgar Ray Killen, the mastermind of the murders back in 1964, was
convicted of manslaughter for the murders of Goodman, Schwerner and Chaney and
sentenced to 60 years and is now serving that sentence and at age 92 will die
in prison.
