Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For March 18, 2017 Trust your St. Patrick’s
was a festive one especially for the 14 mushers who entered Nome that day
including DeeDeeJenrowe (47th) who finished her 32nd
Iditarod out of 35 attempts but not as festive for the 8 mushers still on the
course 3 of whom have left Safety and will enter Nome before lunch today and
the remaining five who have left White Mountain including Cindy Abbott who is
in last place 40 minutes behind the next to last place rookie Peter Reuter and
barring any unforeseen mishaps to dogs or sled should cover the remaining 72
miles in time to enjoy a hearty dinner in Nome; Blues are finally coming
to realize that Americans are fed up with their obstruction and delay and should
fold on opposition to Judge Gorsuch whose hearings start Monday; after another
fence jumper who set off multiple alarms and went unfound for 15 minutes, Dan
Bongino, former Secret Service agent who protected Bush and Obama stated in an
interview with Fox that President Trump is no longer safe in the White House;
elections have consequences but so does biased and inept reporting as Rachel
Maddow learned after her Trump Tax return fiasco that has led to a 36% drop in
viewership (56% drop in 25-54 age group); HRC in a St. Patrick’s Day speech
indicate she was ready to “come out of the woods” to help Americans find common
ground (noble goal but most likely lofty rhetoric especially if she runs for
Mayor of New York City with its large budget that if she wins would jumpstart
the access to her office albeit on a smaller scale quid pro quo infamous during
her tenure as Secretary of State); on the sports front, great day for the Pac
12 with USC, UCLA and Oregon winning;; almost like a stuck record, the carnage
in Chicago continues unabated with total shootings in 2017 through March 17
increasing to 632 and the death toll rising to 117 (God help those poor
minorities being shot mostly by minorities when the weather gets warmer and the
shooters’ aim gets really better and there is more daylight) and yet nothing,
absolutely nothing, appears to be occurring to address this blight on blacks
and minorities which is what racism from a black mayor really looks like;

the North Koreans possess.
5. Swamp Madam—bemoaning the birthday of Deborah Jeanne Palfrey aka the D.C.
Madam who founded Pamela Martin and Associates to provide escort services to elite
Swamp denizens and who, convicted of money laundering and racketeering but before
going off to prison, hanged herself.
