Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For
January 20, 2019 Two bombshells yesterday first Mueller released a statement
that uncorroborated Buzz Field allegation that Trump urged Cohen to perjure
himself before Congress was false (totally deflating the impeachment orgasm the
Blues and MSM were celebrating) and Trump did not declare a national emergency
but put forward a realistic proposal on the wall and border security in
exchange for a DACA and TPS extension which predictably Pelosi rejected as a
nonstarter and Schumer slammed as continuing to hold the nation hostage with
the shutdown (no one in this country is dumb enough to believe that the Blues
will negotiate in good faith over border security if the government is reopened
because Blues know the only chance to regain power given their aggressive
movement to the left is to create citizenship path for the millions of illegals
living and wanting to live in this country); Trump’s approval rating among
Latinos continues to rise and is now standing at 50% (benefits of lowest
unemployment levels in years and if Latinos increase voting for Trump and his
Reds, waive goodbye to the Blues); the former head of the California Democratic
Party got caught with his hand in the sexual harassment cookie jar and is being
sued by current and former staffers for sexual harassment (sadly the reptilian brain
is not loathe to cross the aisle).
As always, I
hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Elton
John, factoids of interest for this day in history, the fact that you have
not hit your olecronon and a relevant quote from A.E. Samaan on the Final
Solution, secure in the knowledge that if you
want to find a gift for any memorable events like college graduations,
birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can
provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the
event and the recipient. You need only contact me for details.
1. World Religion Day—created in 1950
by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of the United States to
promote the idea that the spiritual principles underlying all religions are
harmonious and that religions are a unifying force for humanity and celebrated
on the third Sunday in January.
2. World Snow Day—promoting the idea
of bringing children to snow venues for fun and entertainment.
3. 1998 Number One Song— the number
one song on this day in 1998 on a run of 14 weeks in that position was “Candle
In The Wind” by Elton John. Here is a recording of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoOhnrjdYOc
4. Word of the Day—today’s word of
the day as we move from words beginning with “n” to words beginning with
“o” is “olecronon” which means the funny bone, something you never
want to hit hard.
5. From Blueberries
to the White House—celebrating the birth on this day in 1967 of Kellyanne Conway a
former pollster, who became Trump’s successful 2016 campaign manager and is now
a top White House counselor and is perhaps famous also for working on a
blueberry farm as a teen and being crowned New Jersey Blueberry Princess in
1982.
On this day in:
a. 1942 at the Wannsee Conference
held in the Berlin Suburb of Wannsee, senior Nazi officials discussed the “Final
Solution to the Jewish Question,” which sadly was quickly put in force,
resulting in the death of 6,000,000 innocents during the Holocaust.
b. 1972 following its defeat in the Bangladesh
Liberation War and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, Pakistan launched its
nuclear weapons program and now has a nuclear arsenal like its neighbor India.
c. 1986 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was
celebrated as a federal holiday for the first time.
d. 1991 Sudan established Sharia
nationwide aggravating the civil war between the nation’s Muslim north and the
Christian south.
e. 2018 the federal government shut
down after Blues in the Senate indicated they would not support the House bill
that provided funding for the wall and the shutdown has become the longest in
our history with no end in sight due to Blue opposition.
Reflections on the Wannsee Conference: ““War is
incidental to ideology, and this was certainly true for the war instigated by
Adolf Hitler. Historians have aptly documented that Hitler knew he needed the
fog of war and a radicalized population in order to enact the most extreme
policies. This was equally true for both Germans and the people of their
conquered territories. The war allowed Hitler the cover and justification to
radicalize the T4 Euthanasia program against those lives deemed “not worth living”
by pointing to the costs of maintaining those “useless eaters” during a time of
war. It allowed license for Karl Brandt to “clear hospital beds” in the name of
the war effort. The war’s conquered territory also brought conquered
populations and increased the number of “unfit” and “undesired” population,
including the Jewish population of Eastern Europe. The methods and technology
of the T4 Euthanasia program were subsequently transferred from the German
hospitals to the extermination camps, doctors, nurses, equipment, and all. This
transference and repurposing of resources was all decided in the infamous
Wannsee Conference, which we now know was the beginning of the “Final Solution
of the Jewish Question”:“The aim of all this was to cleanse German living space
of Jews in a legal manner.” (From the text of the Wannsee Protocol)” ― A.E.
Samaan, noted investigative historian.
