Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For July 17, 2020
CV World: The CV pandemic across the planet continues with 193,207 new cases (a 1.4% increase compared to a 1.52% increase yesterday) to bring the total past 14 million to 14,003,469 cases, 5,087,347 of which are active, 8,916,122 of which have been closed with 8,322,232 recoveries (93.34% compared to yesterday’s 93.31%) and 593,890 deaths (6.66% compared to yesterday’s 6.69%) to continue the trend of increased recovery percentages and decreased mortality percentages.
CV USA: New cases of 108,363 with total cases of 3,590,944 (a 3.02% increase compared to yesterday’s 1.62% increase) with 1,877,476 active cases of which 16,452 (16,456 yesterday) are in serious or critical condition, and 1,821,831 closures, 141,168 of which have been deaths (7.75% compared to yesterday’s 7.84%) and 1,680,663 of which have been recoveries (92.25% compared to yesterday’s 92.14%) (our death rate percentages continue to improve and are finally in single digits since Cuomo repealed his order sending CV positive patients on May 10 but remain higher than the world probably due to idiots like Cuomo sending positive CV patients into nursing homes to infect the residents and staff who then die and accounted for some 40% of our deaths with 45,718,025 tests (so much for Biden’s claim of lack of testing by Trump and implications Trump is slowing testing to hide CV increases).
Non CV News: Governor Cuomo whose hands are awash in blood for his now discontinued policy of send positive COVID-19 into nursing homes to kill the most vulnerable of our population has the gall to now blame the federal government for the spread of the virus to New York (seems like only yesterday the Bobbsey stwins of incompetence Cuomo and De Blasio were pooh poohing the virus and touting the toughness of New Yorkers); CNN has a long way to go to join the ranks of objective journalism but Tapper of CNN took a step in that direction slamming Cuomo for omitting the fact from his self patting himself on the back poster that New York with over 30,000 deaths leads the nation in that dubious category; USA Today got caught with its hand in the bias cookie jar by claiming Trump campaign T-shirt sported a Nazi symbol a claim which it had to retract (you be the judge but to this poet it sure looks like an American eagle: Mayor Lightfoot whose city remains a deadly war zone for its residents of color responding in a major snit fit to McEnany after she called the mayor derelict for not seeking federal or state help in dealing with the waves of deadly shootings by blasting her a “Karen”; Blues still seething that Roger Stone did not flip and provide testimony that Mueller wanted are moving forward in the House to toll the statute of limitations for any crimes committed by the president while in office and requiring the DOJ to turn over to Congress any investigatory material it has on presidential wrongdoing if a president were to use the pardon power to frustrate investigations of potential criminal activity; former Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has tossed the race card at Governor Hogan’s criticism of her role in the riots in 2015 following the death of Freddie Gray that she has no room in her life for the unbounded criticism of white men she has met (wonder it the charge includes white women); a supervising video producer for the Biden Campaign Sara Pearl is calling for immediate defunding of the police and retweeting that people should stop calling police “pigs” which is insulting to intelligent creatures like pigs; Adam Parkhomenko is the poster child of the end of civility and problem solving with his F----Bomb and white trash claim against Senator Blackburn; in Chicago as of July 16, 2020, the number of shootings increased by 33 to 2,033, of whom 368 have died (so much for the defund the police movement and for the effectiveness of Chicago’s stay at home order and a complete dereliction of duty by Mayor Lightfoot other than swearing at people outraged over the killings); Baltimore with a fraction of Chicago’s population and hoping against all hopes that 2020 will not be a record in terms of deaths but now seems to be shooting less and killing less and is now 187 behind Chicago now at 181 murders (when will Chicago and Baltimore get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of people of color by people of color and when will the left focus on the problem of color on color shootings in Blue run cities which have been more deadly and more numerous than shootings by police or random mass shootings?).
