Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For October 17, 2019 Trump held a
rally in Dallas before 30,000 rabid fans, slamming Blues on the impeachment
witch-hunt and specifically targeting Bozo O’Dork for his calls to confiscate
guns of law-abiding citizens and deprive churches of their tax exempt status if
they contest same sex marriage; despite being savaged by the Blues who have
changed overnight to become hawks blasting Trump for withdrawing a minimal trip
wire of soldiers put in great harm’s way, the administration has brokering a short
cease fire between the Turks and Kurds (this is very complicated situation that
has been festering for years and Trump’s ability to deal with it has to be
hampered with the impeachment threat hanging over his head as behind closed
doors Banana Republic like depositions are taking place); grasping for issue
straws, the Blues are focusing on the proposed use of Trump’s Doral Resort as
the site of the G-7 conferences next June (the optics may look bad, but the
U.S. may be getting a great deal on its attendance); in a be careful what you
wish for moment, Ben Shapiro, a noted conservative, is speculating that Hillary
Clinton should jump into the race as in his view, many Blues are becoming more
and more dissatisfied with the current field of Blue candidates; Medal of Honor
winner USMC Lance Corporal Kyle Carpenter who jumped on a grenade in
Afghanistan to save a fellow Marine has written a book You Are Worth It describing the reasons for his sacrifice;
Secretary of Energy Rick Perry has informed Trump he intends to resign (if AOC
has her way the fossil fuels section of the department will be greatly downsized);
assuming the data coming out of China is accurate, China’s growth rate due to
the tariff war with the U.S. has sunk to a 26 year low coming in at 6%, a rate
most countries would die for but not adequate for China’s growing population;
as of October 16, 2019, 2232 have been
shot, of whom, 387 have died but in a minor miracle no one added to the death
toll on the 16th; in Baltimore with a fraction of Chicago’s population, 274
have been murdered in Baltimore (when will Chicago and Baltimore get serious
about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns
a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of people of color by people of
color and when will the left focus on the problem of color on color shootings
in Blue run cities which have been more deadly and more numerous than random
mass shootings?

Reflections from the Last Gladiator on being a daredevil: “You can't
ask a guy like me why I performed. I really wanted to fly through the air. I
was a daredevil, a performer. I loved the thrill, the money, the whole macho
thing. All those things made me Evel Knievel. Sure, I was scared. You gotta be
an ass not to be scared. But I beat the hell out of death. [...] You're in the
air for four seconds, you're part of the machine, and then if you make a
mistake midair, you say to yourself, "Oh, boy. I'm gonna crash," and
there's nothing you can do to stop it, not at all.” Evil Knievel in an
interview with Maxim Magazine.
