Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For March
8, 2019 House passed an omnibus anti-hate resolution that ignored and did not
name the rabid anti-Semitism of Representative Ilhan Omar who must have been
emboldened as she ranted against Obama’s “Hope and Change” (I hope this
anti-Semite doesn’t realize she is on thin ice and falls through to no
committee oblivion like Steven King as her brand of hate does not belong in the
Congress); in what has to be a total disaster Pelosi led Blues blocked a GOP
amendment that condemned illegal alien voting (total outrage but explains the
open border campaign of the Blues who need more voters that they believe will
come from illegal aliens voting); Sherrod Brown a Blue Senator from Ohio has
announced he will not join the crowded field of Democratic candidates for
president; Jussie Smollett has been indicted on 16 felony counts for his false
account of being the victim of a hate crime in Chicago (if guilty given the
scarce resources devoted to solving this fake crime, throw the book at him); as
ISIS surrounded by coalition forces is making its last stand, its leader al-Baghdadi
is MIA in hiding knowing that he will be not long for this world; Pelosi
continues to look like a total fool this time defending Omar as not an
anti-Semite but an innocent who did not understanding the meaning of her words
(what a crock); on the tobacco kills front, a new study that Hookah smokers are
exposed to more dangerous chemicals than cigarette smokers; House Democrats
have introduced a non-binding resolution calling for the Mueller Report to be
made public (better be wary of what you wish for as the report in all
likelihood will exonerate Trump and blow Nadler’s witch-hunt and Maxine Waters
impeachment calls out of the water); Trump and the first lady visited Alabama that
suffered 23 tornado deaths to meet with victims; through March 7, 2019 296
people have been shot in Chicago of whom 47 have died.
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s
holidays and observances, a music link to Jo Stafford, factoids of
interest for this day in history, the fact you reject the ostrichism and a
relevant quote from Malala Yousafzai on education of girls, secure

like college graduations, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know
that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a

politicians when it comes to the rise in entitlements or the effects of rising
national debt.
