18, 2019 Twitter has been sued for $250 million for shadow banning conservatives
and obstructing Representative’s Nunez surveillance of government overreach (it
may be a little too late moment but the founder of Twitter Jack Dorsey has
admitted that the company may have been too aggressive in banning users; fill
in your brackets as it is March Madness with Virginia, Gonzaga, Duke and North
Carolina picking up the first 4 seeds for the men; Joy Behar of The View continues to make a biased fool
of herself going after Graham for not slamming Trump’s attack on McCain for his
role in the anti-Trump dossier, calling on him to find his testicularity while
Meghan McCain proves the adage that when you consort with dogs you get fleas in
her emotional rant against Trump not spending time with his family and not
being and never will be a great man; Donna Brazile, former head of the DNC and
leaker of debate questions to HRC in 2016 has agreed to join Fox News as a
contributor to join in reasoned and objective debate (CNN and MSNBC with their lineup
of biased anti-Trump hacks should pay attention as people tired of their bias
are fleeing from their channels like they have the plague); Bozo O’Rourke has
no record, no ideas, no vision but he does have one talent—he evidently can
raise money as he claimed to have suckered in $6.1 million shortly after
announcing his candidacy for president; in a glaring moment of “Fake News” by
omission Reuters reporter Joseph Menn is being slammed for burying his article
on O’Rourke’s membership in a hacking group, The Cult of the Dead Cow, until
after his electoral loss to Ted Cruz; in a name is no defense moment Daniel
Sober was arrested for a DUI after blowing a .0194; in a the enemy of my enemy
is my friend moment Turkey and Iran announced they would engage in a joint
military operation against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party which advocates for an
independent Kurdish nation within the borders of Turkey; on the ocean pollution
front a dead juvenile whale was found with 77 pounds of plastic in its stomach;
as of March 17, 2019 344 people have been shot in Chicago of whom 58 have died.

Back—celebrating the birth on this day in
1963 of noted actress, singer and beauty pageant winner Vanessa Williams who in
1983 became the first black Miss America winner but who, after nude photos of
her were displayed in Penthouse Magazine,
was forced to resign her title.

a. 1938 Mexico created Pemex by
expropriating all foreign owned petroleum reserves and facilities.
b. 1965 Soviet Cosmonaut Alexi
Leonov left his Voskhod 2 Satellite for 12 minutes to become the first person
to walk in space.
c. 1967 the supertanker Torrey Canyon hit a rock off the Cornish
coast creating a massive environment disaster in the form of oil spill and sank
after being bombed to ignite the oil that had leaked out of the ship.
d. 1968 the U.S. Congress repealed
legislation requiring gold reserves to back our currency.
e. 1969 the U.S. began to secretly
bomb the Sihanouk Trail in Cambodia to block the flow of arms and men into South
Vietnam.
