Ridley's Believe It Or Not For February 7, 2016 National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For February 7, 2016, 348 days to go in President Obama’s pathetic lame duck term. Interesting theater on the political front in New Hampshire last night as Rubio was in the cross hairs of all on the stage. Finally with the Super Bowl happening today, we can focus on something other than politics. Trust your Super Bowl 50 Party plans are set and, as always, I hope  you enjoy Sunday’s holidays and observances, a music link to The Monkees, factoids of interest, a relevant quote by Magic Johnson, looking forward to enjoying a plate of fettuccine Alfredo, blessed with a positive attitude and  secure in  the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like Valentines' Day, birthdays, weddings, or  anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem  at a great price  tailored to the event and the recipient. Reflections on HIV from one of the spokesmen trying to create awareness: “The important thing is this Just because I'm doing well doesn't mean that they're going to do well if they get HIV. A lot of people have died since I have announced. This disease is not going anywhere…II am not cured, but the HIV is deep asleep in my body.” Magic Johnson, great Laker basketball player whose career cut short by his publicly announcing that he had been infected.
