Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For March 23, 2020 For the Blues
under Schumer it’s pass out the fiddles as Rome burns as the Blues in Senate
once again close ranks to derail Senate stimulus bill 49-46 when 60 votes are
needed to end filibuster (Schumer and Pelosi are holding the American economy
and its healthcare system hostage to insure the economy tanks to insure the
recession that would derail Trump’s reelection); Americans should be outraged
that the “stimulus” bill the House is holding Blue Senators hostage to is some
1500 pages long with provisions like money for the JFK Performing Arts Center
that have absolutely nothing to do with the virus or the stimulus Americans
desperately need; lCOVID-19 cases have
now surpassed 41,000 growing a around 20% every 24 hours while the Senate is in
impasse (we need to have the points of difference spelled out so we can make
our minds up as to which side is right and which side is merely trying to make ideological
points); while 4 Red Senators are in quarantine with one Rand Paul having
tested positive, Senator Amy Klobuchar’s husband has tested positive but she is
not in quarantine (would not want to wish this on anyone but maybe the best
thing that could happen to the Senate impasse might be to have more Blue members
of the Senate test positive or be put under quarantine); Trump has updated the
country on the progress of the virus and castigated the Senate for its delay in
passing the needed stimulus bill while Fauci was not present as he was busy at work
working on a virus; Harvey Weintsein awaiting sentencing in prison has tested
positive for the C)VID-19 virus as have several Florida Spring Break partiers
seen on TV throwing all social isolation to the wind; the head of the WHO who has
been accused of being a stooge of the Chinese is claiming the pandemic is
expanding while the cases in China have plateaued; Joe Biden was making a
teleprompter speech on his ideas to fight the virus in a stumbling almost incoherent
15 minutes when his teleprompter malfunctioned along with his train of thought
(if I were a Blue I would be terrified of having Biden as my nominee even more
so as Governor Cuomo in his daily response to the pandemic in New York is looking
more and more competent and presidential); the WHCA has confirmed that one of
its members has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and was in 4 recent
presidential press conferences (although he might like to President Trump is
not wishing the person is Jim Acosta); so far there is no evidence that the
coronavirus attacks mental faculties, but Madonna is being mocked big time for
her nude video in a bathtub with flower petals ranting about the virus; in
Chicago, as of March 22, 2020, 471 people have been shot of whom 85 have died
but none for three days prior to yesterday; Baltimore with a fraction of
Chicago’s population and hoping against all hopes that 2020 will not be a
record in terms of deaths is still 23 behind Chicago with 62 murders by
shootings (when will Chicago and Baltimore get serious about this carnage or is
this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind
eye to the slaughter of people of color by people of color and when will the
left focus on the problem of color on color shootings in Blue run cities which
have been more deadly and more numerous than random mass shootings?).
As always, I hope you enjoy

Reflections on meteorologists:“ All we need is a meteorologist who
has once been soaked to the skin without ill effect. No one can write knowingly
of the weather who walks bent over on wet days.” E.B. White, noted contributor
for over 50 years to The New Yorker.
