Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For March 11, 2020 Despite another lousy showing on Tuesday. Bernie Sanders vowed to stay in the race and will meet Biden in a one on one debate next week before another set of primaries (lights will be burning late in the Biden Headquarters as staffers scramble for solutions to the growing concern evidenced by his gaffes and mental lapses that he has lost whatever mental acuity he once had and may not be fit mentally to be president); Representative Clyburn a prominent Black Congressman and Biden supporter has called for the end of debates so the party can concentrate on beating Trump (real reason is every time Biden opens his mouth on national TV there is a growing chance his dementia evidence gaffes will be spouted by him); Floyd County in Georgia is going to add a pseudo election for Senator to its primary to the concern of Republicans that such polling may upset the jungle election in November where the top two vote getters go into a run off unless one of them has garnered more than 50% of the vote; Trump has snubbed Session in the Alabama Senate race and endorsed Tuberville, his primary opponent; as WHO declares the coronavirus to be a worldwide pandemic, our markets was being hammered big time as cases and deaths continue to rise; Harvey Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison where unless his sentence is overturned or somehow reduced he will die there (no tears will be shed by his numerous victims); SCOTUS has overruled the leftist 9th Circuit and held that Trump’s Remain in Mexico policy which has been a godsend in reducing illegal immigration will remain in force during lower court litigation (in a stark contrast of opposing philosophies Sanders in a Town Hall on Fox indicated he would not close the border to fight the coronavirus epidemic); the EU facing an escalating flood of illegals pouring into Greece which is trying desperately to close its borders his pouring millions of Euros into that country to assist its efforts; Trump is again going to address the nation on the coronavirus threat at a time when more than ever we need rational nonpanic responses to it like restricting large crowds as the NCAA has done for March Madness and the NBA appears to be ready to do for games not irresponsible rants from biased late night show hosts like Setphen Colbert calling Trump a monster for comparing the death rate from the flu to that of the coronavirus; first it was Kamala Harris’ idiotic tweet that calling the coronavirus the Chinese flu or Wuhan flu where it originated was racist now not to be outdone on the idiocy scale AOC is claiming that people are being racist because she falsely claims they are avoiding Chinese restaurants; a Clinton appointed District Court Judge is slamming Chief Justice Roberts in an article to be published in the Harvard Law Review for his alleged politicizing of the court and Republican Senators for their refusal to hold hearings on Obama’s Garland nomination while Schumer is facing calls for censure over his threats on Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh if they do not rule as he wishes on an abortion case pending before the court; in Chicago, as of March 10. 2020, 401 people have been shot of whom 79 have died; Baltimore with a fraction of Chicago’s population and hoping against all hopes that 2020 will not be a record in terms of deaths has fallen 23 behind Chicago with 56 murders by shootings (when will Chicago and Baltimore get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of people of color by people of color and when will the left focus on the problem of color on color shootings in Blue run cities which have been more deadly and more numerous than random mass shootings?).

On this day in:
a. 1946 Rudolph Hoss, the first commandant of the large Nazi death camp Auschwitz was captured by British forces and ultimately turned over to Polish authorities who tried and convicted him as a war criminal and hanged him on April 16, 1947..
b. 1989 Sir Tim Berniers-Lee submitted his proposal to CERN for an information management system that became to be known as the worldwide web.
c. 1993 Janet Reno became the first female Attorney General of the United States.
d. 1999 in recognition of the globalization of technology, Infosys became the first Indian company listed on NASDAQ.
e. 2011 a 9.0 earthquake hit near Sendai, Japan triggering a tsunami that killed thousands of people and caused the world’s second most disastrous nuclear accident at nuclear reactors located on the coast near there.
Sick reflections on the slaughter at Auschwitz: “One woman approached me as she walked past and, pointing to her four children who were manfully helping the smallest ones over the rough ground, whispered: 'How can you bring yourself to kill such beautiful, darling children? Have you no heart at all?' One old man, as he passed me, hissed: 'Germany will pay a heavy penance for this mass murder of the Jews.' His eyes glowed with hatred as he said this. Nevertheless he walked calmly into the gas-chamber.” Rudolph Hoss.
