Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For December 8, 2018 Despite the assertions by the anti-Trump MSM the sentencing recommendations filed by Mueller’s band of pro Clinton donors provide no evidence of collusion with Russia (how long does this witch-hunt go on with its flagrant expenditure of funds and when does the nation come to the conclusion that the purpose of the investigation is only to weaken the administration and frustrate the implementation of policies that got Trump elected; 28 year old Ramsey Bearce has been arrested in West Virginia for sending obscene photos to a 15 year old former student (women should have the right like men to pursue winter to summer relationships but given the age of the male this is outrageous); “Spartacus” Booker is heading to New Hampshire fueling speculation that he will join the crowded field of candidate and  run for president in 2020; Alyssa Zabraski was arrested for shoplifting at a Wal-Mart in Boardman Township, Ohio but her mug shot photo has gone viral

                                    

Trump announced that former general Kelley will be leaving as his chief of staff at the end of the year; Comey is being blasted for his selective amnesia and the DOJ lawyer who was acting as his wingman was blasted for obstructing a valid Congressional inquiry; finally the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation may find their criminal past may have caught up to them as three whistleblowers from the foundation have released hundreds of pages of documents that detail criminal activity like comingling of funds and play to pay practices; here’s a news item that will bring tears to your eyes as Kelsey Zwick was flying her 11 month old sick twin daughter from Orlando to Philadelphia to enter Children’s Hospital to treat a lung problem caused by her premature birth when a man in first class gave up his seat to her to make the trip less stressful (political divisiveness there still is a lot of good will and kindness in this country); in Paris 5,000 Yellow Vest protestors demanding Macron’s resignation were met by 8,000 police and numerous armored cars and by tear gas and stun grenades resulting in a 1,000 arrests; Emanuel’s announcement that he will not seek reelection has not curbed the gun violence as through December 7, 2018, 2805 people mostly of color have been shot by mostly people of color, of whom 474 have died (when will Chicago get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of mostly people of color by mostly people of color).

a. 1927 the Brookings Institution, one of the oldest think tanks in the nation, was formed by the merger of three institutions founded by Robert Brookings.

b. 1980 former Beatle John Lennon  was shot and killed outside his apartment in New York City by Mark Chapman who was arrested at the scene of the crime reading Catcher in the Rye, tried, convicted and sentenced to life, denied parole at 10 parole hearings and eligible for the next hearing in 2020.

c. 1987 the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Treaty was signed in Washington, D.C. by President Reagan and Soviet Premier Mikhail  Gorbachev; due to suspected Russian cheating and Chinese build up of forces in the Pacific, the U.S. announced its intention in October of this year to withdraw from the treaty.

d. 2010 with the second launch of SpaceX Falcon and the first launch of SpaceX Dragon, SpaceX became the first private company to launch, orbit and recover a spacecraft.

e. 2013 Metallica performed a concert appropriately titled “Freeze Em All”  in Antarctica, thereby becoming the first band to perform on all seven continents.
