Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For July 8, 2019 In yet another example of how fortunate we have been spared the embarrassment of having the First Man Sexual Predator in the White House in the form of Bill Clinton, his pal Jeffrey Epstein, a Florida convicted sex offender, was arrested in NYC after getting off his private jet from France and taken into custody for sex trafficking with underage female minors (Bill Clinton must be sweating blood as Fox News has obtained documents showing he was a passenger 26 times on the “Lolita Express” to Epstein’s private estate in the Caribbean, often ditching his Secret Service protection); Epstein who earlier pled guilty to sex trafficking and served 13 months in a Florida prison may face the real prospect of that deal being thrown out and having to face charges which if convicted could put his behind bars for life (God help a man whose brain has been taken over by the reptilian brain); Obama’s former head of the DHS, Jeh Johnson, has slammed Democratic wanna-bes for their ridiculous ideas of decriminalizing illegal immigration and refusing to deport illegals unless they have committed a crime (if Blues do not listen to him they will go down in flames in 2020); the dominoes of aborted Blue presidential campaigns may start today as Eric Swalwell whose progressive ideas are going nowhere many be the first to drop out at a press conference to be held at his campaign headquarters; the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team already expected to be slammed for refusing an invite to the White House came into criticism when Allie Long interrupted her choreographed celebration to drop the American flag she was holding to the ground which was fortunately picked up by a teammate Kelley O’Hara but the team may resurrect their standing by suing for equal pay that the male members of the Men’s Soccer team receive which given the performance of the men as opposed to the performance of the women should be a no brainer lawsuit to win; Anderson Cooper will inherit $1.5 million from his deceased 95 year old mother; Starbucks executives were meeting with Tempe police officers who were asked to leave a Starbucks by a barista because a customer felt uncomfortable with a group of armed officers present (wonder how uncomfortable the customer would feel if an armed robbery occurred and the police were not present?); in Louisiana Lenise Martin III in a copycat crime was arrested after a store video showed him licking ice cream from a container and putting it back in the freezer; through July 6, 2019, 1346 people have been shot in Chicago of whom 239 have died (what makes the Smollett case so frustrating and why the appointment of a special prosecutor should be applauded,  is that it forced the city of Chicago to allocate scarce detective resources when in only 9% of the shootings resulting in murder has a suspect being charged this year and where is the outrage over mostly blacks shooting and killing mostly blacks?).

1. Math 2.0 Day—celebrated since 2009 to promote awareness of how important math and technology in our daily lives and business.                 

 2. SCUD Day—created by Stephanie West Allen not to commemorate the Iraqi SCUD missiles which were the bane of Coalition forces in Operation Desert Storm but to celebrate Savor the Comic Unplug the Drama Day as we can all do with more drama and less drama. 

 3. 1965 Number One Song—the number one song on this day in 1965 with 1 week in that position was “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch” by The Four Tops. 4. Word of the Day—today’s word of the day as we move from words beginning with “o” to words beginning with “p” is “pharisaic” which means hypocritical which describes politicians on both sides of the aisle to a tee.

5. Too Fast Too Soon—celebrating the birth on this day in 1992 of noted Mexican singer Ariel Comacho who was killed along with two others in a crash of his 1994 Honda Accord coming back from a concert to Sinola while driving fast; Ariel’s song El Karma became number one on the Latin 100 Billboard after his death.
