December 7, 2018 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For December 7, 2018 Comey, the disgraced FBI Director is on the Hill testifying in close session over his handling of the Clinton e-mail server with the transcript to be released in 24 hours which should make for interesting reading if Comey answered questions which he has not; Zuckerberg, the leftist head of Facebook  that all conservatives despise, has ordered an audit of alleged blocking of conservative posts but has not committed to release the results; Trump has announced that he will nominate former AG under Bush 41 William Bauer as Attorney General and Heather Nuaert former spokeswomen for the State Department to replace Nikki Haley as UN Ambassador; Qantas wants to make it impossible for workers to have funds to put another shrimp on the barbie byi asking its workers to volunteer for extra work during the Christmas season without pay; the NFL Commissioner has shown himself one more time to be incompetent by fining star Dallas running back Ezekiel Elliott $13,000 after he deposited $21 in the Salvation Army bucket at the game with the Washington Redskins (what a Scrooge and Grinch); the InSight Martian probe is on the surface of Mars hard a work sending back very clear photos of the planet as it begins to analyze physical data beneath the surface;  a UNAIDS report released stated that 9 million people carry the HIV virus and do not know it increasing the risk of further infection; Emanuel’s announcement that he will not seek reelection has not curbed the gun violence as through December 6, 2018, 2801 people mostly of color have been shot by mostly people of color, of whom 474 have died (when will Chicago get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of mostly people of color by mostly people of color).
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Steam, factoids of interest for this day in history, the fact that you are not a nupson and a relevant quote from Harry Chapin’s tombstone epitaph, secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like college graduations, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. To take his time on Earth
