June 13, 2018 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Random Acts of Light Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For June 13, 2018 The ink is barely dry on the agreement between North Korea and the U.S. on the issue of North Korea’s giving up its nukes and already the Blues are in whining mode that Trump was snookered and insulting to our G-7 Allies; tomorrow the IG will release its report on the botched “investigation” by the FBI a once proud agency so politicized under Obama, Holder, Lynch and Comey (the real collusion in the 2016 elections was not between Trump and the Russians but between HRC and the DNC and Russia with the fake anti-Trump dossier that led to Mueller and illegal FISA warrants on Americans); James Wolfe former top staffer for the Senate Intel Committee pled not guilty to charges of leaking classified information to his paramour, New York Times reporter Ally Watkins (shades of Strzock and Page on steroids and another example of the reptilian brain corrupting ethics and integrity); the war on women is alive and flourishing even among the Blue hypocrites as Archie Parnell running for the House in South Carolina who beat his wife with a tire iron and won a Blue primary; Robert DeNiro unleashed a stream of F*Bombs at the Tony Awards against Trump and Alec Baldwin must be in the grip of delusions of grandeur indicating he would be a great presidential candidate; on the immigration front AG Sessions is slamming the asylum system as being scammed; on the homeless front the City Council of Seattle has rescinded due to objections of large employers like Amazon a controversial employee head tax designed to raise money to cope with the burgeoning homeless problem; in Chicago through June 12, 2018, 1191 people mostly of color have been shot by mostly people of color, of whom 191 have died (when will Chicago get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of people of color by people of color?)
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Paula Abdul, factoids of interest for this day in history, the fact that the Pelosi’s martinet ways will not have a chance to be exercised as the Blue Wave seems to be receding for the midterms,  and  a relevant quote by from Murray Bootchin on the Exxon Valdez disaster,  secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like Father’s Day, college graduations,  birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. You need only contact me for details.

b. 1981 at the Trouping of the Colour Ceremony in Buckingham Palace, Michael Sergeant fired six blanks at Queen Elizabeth II for which he spent three years in prison.

Reflections on the Exxon Valdez oil spill disaster: “We tend to think of environmental catastrophes -such as the recent Exxon Valdez oil-spill disaster in the Bay of Alaska-as "accidents": isolated phenomena that erupt without notice or warning. But when does the word accident become inappropriate? When are such occurrences inevitable rather than accidental? And when does a consistent pattern of inevitable disasters point to a deep-seated crisis that is not only environmental but profoundly social?” Murray
Bookchin, noted American author and early ecologist.
