November 15, 2016 Ridley's Believe It Or Not America Recycles Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For November 15, 2016 Good to see a unifying, calming President-Elect Trump on 60 Minutes telling his supporters in no uncertain terms to stop harassing minorities and Muslims (would be nice if Hillary could get over the shock of losing her crown and ditto to Obama on the complete repeal of his legacy and do the same thing with respect to the paid agitators protesting in the streets); on the Thin Blue Line, another police officer was being beaten by a driver he had stopped but this one ended on a good note and exemplifies why we need a Second Amendment as a citizen seeing the attack, got out of his car with his gun for which he had a concealed weapons permit and after warning the suspect to stop or be shot, shot him three times killing him: Chicago as a completely lawless city lived up to its reputation by its major openly defied Trump’s plan to deport criminal illegal aliens and vowed to remain a sanctuary city (sure hope the feds figure out a way to cut off all federal funding to Chicago as long as it remains a sanctuary city); finally a sliver of sanity in academia as the University of Michigan Law School cancelled its planned activities of playing with Play-Doh, bubbles and card making to relieve the anxiety of law students trying to cope with Trump’s victory due to massive internet scorn (what these idiotic faculty, administrators and  lawyers-to-be don’t release is that Trump’s victory is a walk in the park compared to the stress of having 3000 billable hours a year to stay on partnership track); it looks like Denver will add “Second Hand High” to its nickname of “Mile High” as voters approved a local measure to allow pot smokers to bring their own weed into certain licensed bars and cafes (nothing like getting stoned from second hand smoke); Obama is on his final world tour starting off in Greece, the purpose of which other than to savor the expensive luxuries of Air Force One is to calm allies concerned over a Trump victory.
As always, I hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Mariah Carey, factoids of interest for this day in history, a relevant quote from I.I. On this day in:

Reflections on recycling: The paradox of life lies exactly in this: its resources are finite, but it itself is endless. Such a contradictory state of affairs is feasible only because the resources accessible to life can be used over and over again.” I.I. Gitelson, Manmade Closed Ecological Systems.  Please enjoy the poems on events of interest on my twitter account below (if you like them, retweet and follow me) and follow my blogs.
