Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For February 13, 2019 On the
witch-hunt front Nadler has hired 2 very biased Democratic hacks to conduct the
Judiciary Committee "unbiased" investigation of Trump's collusion and
obstruction of justice (what have we paid Mueller millions for to have come up
with nothing?); Omar's apology for anti-Semite remarks against Israel
has not toned her down as she blasted newly appointed envoy to Venezuela on the
question of genocide if it favored U.S. interests and why U.S. sanctions are
not a coup against Maduro (why this rabid anti-Semite has any committee
assignments is beyond comprehension); like a car that doesn't work and should
be returned to the lot Lemon is making a fool of himself as a
"journalist" by equating Trump's refusal to apologize with Omar's
initial refusal to apologize for her anti-Semite remarks; McConnell is going to
skewer the Blues and especially the Blues in the Senate running for president
by bringing AOC's inane Green New Deal to a vote on the floor (would love to
Harris on record for eliminating foreign and domestic air travel in and out of
California after the Moonbeam successor wisely came to his senses on the Bullet
Train due to cost overruns and cancelled the project); the national emergency
occasioned by a flood of illegals continues with the Border Patrol being
overwhelmed while Congress plays the fiddle and will not address funding a wall
and increasing the funding for border security and the number of judges to hear
the predominantly bogus asylum cases that have clogged immigration courtrooms;
in a blow to hunters, news of a fatal neurological disease affecting cervids
(deer family) Chronic Wasting Disease that may be passed on to humans eating
contaminated food that has spread to cervids in 24 states and 2 provinces in
Canada; Bloomberg who is still considering a run for the presidency has indicated
he will spend $500 million to defeat Trump in 2020 (the collateral damage from
the Citizens United case is coming home to roost making this country look more
and more like a plutocracy with representatives the mere puppets of the super
wealthy who have maybe as a result of guilt for amassing so much wealth have
veered increasingly to the left aka Steyer and Soros); on the law abiding gun
carrying owners save lives, in Tennessee a man with a concealed carry permit
shot and wounded a man who killed an employee at a dentist's office, preventing
further bloodshed.
As always, I hope you enjoy
today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Justin Bieber, factoids
of interest for this day in history, the fact you are successful in you opprunes

radio, secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any
memorable events like college graduations, birthdays, weddings,
or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a
unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the
recipient. You need only contact me for details.
1. World Radio Day—created

4. Word of the Day—today’s word of the day as we move from
words beginning with “n” to words beginning with “o” is “opprune” which
means to attack by argument which if it is not in an ad hominem basis is a proper
basis to argue the merits of a proposal which is sadly missing in the Swamp.
5. No 16 Tons With Green New Deal—celebrating the birth
on this day in 1919 of noted singer Ernst Jennings Ford better known to his
fans as Tennessee Ernie Ford best known for is hit "16 Tons" which
could not be created today if AOC has her way; sadly he battled alcoholism and
died from liver failure in 1991.
On this day
in:
a. 1914 In New York City the American Society of Composers,
Authors and Publishers was established to protect copyrighted musical ccompositions
of its members.

the discovery of the largest diamond dwarf star BPM 37093 which it named
"Lucy'' after the Beatles song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds."

Reflections
on radio on this World Radio Day: " More than eighty years after the
world's first station was founded, radio is still the most pervasive,
accessible, affordable, and flexible mass medium available, especially in the
developing world." – Bruce Girard, Executive Director International
Association for Media and Communications
