CV World Cases: The CV pandemic across the planet continues on a slowing down basis the new year with cases now over 176 million at 176,910,451 cases (176,551,081 yesterday), 12,032,936 of which are active, 164,877,278 closed with 161,054,572 recoveries (97.68% and 97.68% yesterday, and 3,822,076 deaths (2.32% and 2.32% yesterday) to continue the slow trend of increased cases with increased recovery percentages and decreased death percentage with some plateaus, dips, and rises.
CV USA Cases: Total cases now over 34 million at 34,328,781 (34,316,005 yesterday) with 5,285,234 active cases of which 4,440 (4,541) yesterday and 8,599 on 3/25/2021) (now down to .084% of active cases and now a significant reduction to decrease the number of serious or critical cases to increase the reduction from the 29,271 peak on 12/31/2020 to 24,831, 29,043,487 closed, with 615,176 deaths (2.12% and 2.12% yesterday) and with 28,428,311 recoveries (97.88% and 97.88% yesterday). Our death rate percentage continues to slowly improve and after many months is
now .20% lower than the world’s death rate.
Standing: On a deaths per million population measure on a steady but slowing climb to 1848 the U.S. ranks behind Peru (5649) the new number 1 which has had a quantum leap in deaths previously unmatched which may be a change in the method of reporting; Hungary the new number 2 has had a huge continuing surge in deaths with the increase now slowing down and improving slightly to 3.93% of its closed cases have died (3105), aping Hungary in terms of increase in deaths Bulgaria 2595), Brazil (2278) which has been hit with a rapid rise in deaths and cases and passed us and Italy, Belgium (2156), (Italy (2104), Poland (1972) and the UK (1875) which had passed us despite leading world in testing and now has new deaths barely increasing), and Argentina (1872), and slightly better than Mexico (1767), Spain (1721), France (1689), Portugal (1676), Romania (1667), Chile (1598), Sweden (1431) that never closed its economy down like we did but has recently been experiencing a steady rise in deaths, Bolivia (1314) and Switzerland (1246).
Tests: We have now conducted 494,997,846 tests (now at 1,487,175/M) compared to number 2 now France at 1,365,769/M) as we are conducting more tests in number and on a per capital basis for all nations (other than those nations that contain small populations like Bahrain, Denmark, Israel, Malta, Singapore and UAE) other than the U.K. which remains as king of the mountain with respect to tests at 2,868,982/M.
CV Open Gate: Lost in the pronouncements by Biden and his lackeys that there is no crisis of illegals surging across the border is that fact that COVID-19 is alive and well and spreading in the Northern Triangle and Mexico which has moved down to 11th on my list of deaths from the pandemic having been passed by Argentina at 1767/M and the 3 countries in the Northern Triangle in terms of active cases and deaths per million are as follows even though the data may be suspect as underreported (regardless of number we need no more cases):
Guatemala: Active Cases: 16,391 Deaths/M 464
Honduras: Active Cases: 152,933 Deaths/M 660
El Salvador: Active cases: 2,902 Deaths/M 353
US Vaccinations: As of 6/14/21 310.6 million doses finally after decreasing for several days falling to below 1 million to decrease from 1.14 million per day to 1.11 million which means if the rate does not increase it will take us now down to some 5 months to have 75% of the population vaccinated which many believe is necessary to develop herd immunity. In California 40,236,460 total doses have been given (84.1% of doses received to exceed the U.S. average of 83.0%), but even with the pressure of a recall to be scheduled this fall which hopefully end Newsom’s term, California has moved up barely from 25th to 24th of the 50 states in terms of the percentage of doses administered as a percentage of doses delivered to the states and at 46.6% of its population fully vaccinated compared to the U.S. average of 43.7% has moved from 20th to 19th among the 50 states. A long way to go still to get herd immunity in terms of getting vaccines received into arms and the percentage of the population fully vaccinated compared to other states which means a great reason to recall this inept and hypocritical governor.
Non CV News: It may be only anecdotal but Yeonmi Park who managed to escape North Korea with her family at age 13 to South Korea and was able to transfer to Columbia University in 2017 has some chilling observations as she found the very similar anti-Western sentiment, collective guilt and suffocating political correctness she endure in North Korea; Biden holding a press conference before his summit meeting with Putin on Wednesday, was in rare gaffe form, fumbling through his speech and confusing Libya with Syria 3 times as an example of where the 2 countries could work together; in Brussels at a NATO meeting Biden tossed the long obeyed adage that politics stop at the water’s edge and vehemently blasted Trump for his dealings with NATO oblivious evidently that Trump was able to have European members increasing their defense spending to required percentages of GNP spending; Netanyahu ousted as Premier of Israel went out swinging, vowing to be back in the saddle, blasting is replacement and castigating Biden for his attempts to revive the nuclear deal with Iran; on this Flag Day, Representative Brian Mast who lost both of his legs serving in Afghanistan, pointed out that the American flag is for everyone and castigated Mara Gay’s Op Ed in the NYC Times that she was disturbed to see so many American flags flying in Long Island but unlike the left defended her right to express her opinion; in what may be either payback or a gift to Pelosi trying to retain the House with its slim Blue majority, 9 out of 10 Reds in the House who voted to impeach Trump over January 6, 2021 events at the Capitol are facing primary challenges from Reds; in Minneapolis, protestors marching to protest the police shooting of Winston Smith had a car plow into them killing one person with the driver being taken into custody; Putin is calling allegations of Russian government involvement in recent ransom ware cyber-attacks as farcical (to believe that criminal oligarchs do anything without the blessing of Putin even if plausible deniability is ludicrous); as more and more people are recovering or being vaccinated in the U.S. a warning that a new variant of the virus Delta is accounting for 10% of the new infections and doubling each week which given the fact it appears to be much more contagious is spread fears of a new spike in the fall; the dynamic duo of MSNBC pundits are in full rant mode as usual with Joyless Reid claiming students are learning Confederate Race Theory and Jason Johnson bemoaning the fact that SCOTUS may not be packed to make it “fair and balanced” which unlike MSNBC is FOX’s standard; Blue Governor Wolf is acting true to his Lobo name baying at the “voter suppression moon” falsely claiming the Red Senate passed voter reform bill that requires presentation of voter id each time a person votes as opposed to only the first time is a threat to voting in the Commonwealth (interestingly Reds have claimed they reached out to the Governor’s office to negotiate requested changes but got no takers); former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and defeated candidate for governor John Cox have ads appearing to urge recall of Newsom, the date for that election has not been set but expected to be in October or November (later it is the better chance that voters will have forgotten the effects of his misguided lockdowns, school closures, Chinese mask deal, EDD office meltdown and delay in unemployment checks and his do as I say not as I do French Laundry lobbyist birthday party dinner); chilling news despite the euphoria of more and more people being vaccinated of a report in Los Angeles County of 933 vaccinated people having “breakthrough cases of infection” which are infections detected due to symptoms but because of mandatory testing like before surgery or returning to work; the G-7 has ended with the leaders pledging a billion vaccines to fight the pandemic, support for a minimum corporate income tax rate of 15%, and touting that democracies can do a better job of aiding in the development of developing countries better that authoritarian countries like China; while many commentators claimed the G-7 proposals were weak, too general and full of platitudes, leave it to the political commentator to present a more disturbing view of the impact of the G-7’s ideas on America:
Chicago Gun Violence: Hey Jackass.com is alive and well to collect data to show that through June 13, 2,021, gun violence involving mostly persons of color shooting mostly persons of color in Chicago is alive and well with 1652 persons shot of whom 282 have died.

5. Upheaval in Constant Motion--celebrating the birth on this day in 1946 of Donald J. Trump, noted real estate developer, TV show producer and personality, 45th President of the United States and a man despised by the MSM 24/7 whose brash personality was a breath of fresh air compared to the fetid atmosphere of the Swamp which one might expect as the only president to serve without military or government service.
b. 1949 Albert 2 a rhesus monkey on board a V-2 Rocket became the first primate to reach outer space but sadly like Albert III,IV, and V died during flight or on crashing when parachutes failed leaving Albert VI to become the first primate to go into space on April 15, 1951 and survive the return albeit shortly as he died 2 hours later.

All 4 of the victims recovered but Hodgkinson was wounded in a shootout with Capitol Police and died in the hospital from his injuries.
