Ridley’s Believe It Or Not April 7, 2021
CV World Cases: The CV pandemic across the planet continues the new year with cases now over 133 million at 133,477,061cases (132,820,519 yesterday), 22,966,614 which are active, 110,510,447 closed with 107,617,862 recoveries (97.38% and 97.38% yesterday and 2,892,585 deaths (2.62% and 2.62% yesterday) to continue the trend of increased cases with increased recovery percentages and decreased death percentages with some plateaus.
CV USA Cases: Total cases now over 31 million at 31,613,123 (31,519,836 yesterday) with 6,862,266 active cases of which 9,042 (8,774 yesterday and 8,599 on 3/25/2021) (.13% of active cases and now for the last 3 days reducing the decrease from the peak of 29,271 on 12/31/2020 to 20,229) are in serious or critical condition, 24,750,857, closed, with 570,797 deaths (2.31% and 2.31% yesterday) and with 24,180,060 recoveries (97.69% and 97.69% yesterday). Our death rate percentage continues to improve and after many months is now .31% lower than the world rate and now .09% lower than Canada which has the socialized type medicine Biden may well want to implement here but at least has approved 4 vaccines as opposed to our 3 and on a deaths per million population measurement on a steady climb to 1717 ranks behind Hungary the new number 1 (2324), Bulgaria (2015), Belgium (1999), UK (1862) which had passed us despite leading world in testing), and Italy (1861), and only slightly worse than Portugal (1660), Spain (1626), Peru (1603), Brazil (1579), Mexico (1577), France (1488), Poland (1473), Sweden (1338) that never closed its economy down like we did but has recently been experiencing a steady rise in deaths, Argentina (1244), Chile (1237), Switzerland (1197), and Bolivia (1048). We have now conducted 412,825,692 tests (now at 1,241,639/M) compared to number 2 now France at 1,036,817/M) as we are conducting more tests in number and on a per capital basis for all nations (other than those nations that contain small populations like Bahrain, Denmark, Israel, Malta, Singapore and UAE) other than the U.K. which remains as king of the mountain with respect to tests at 1,938,745/M.
CV Open Gate: Lost in the pronouncements by Biden and his lackeys that there is no crisis of illegals surging across the border is that fact that COVID-19 is alive and well and spreading in the Northern Triangle and Mexico which is 11th on my list of deaths from the pandemic at 1577/M and the 3 countries in the Northern Triangle in terms of active cases and deaths per million are as follows even though the data may be suspect as underreported:
Guatemala: Active cases: 8,585 Deaths/M 380
Honduras: Active cases: 114,039 Deaths/M 467
El Salvador: Active cases: 1,114 Deaths/M 313
US Vaccinations: As of 4/7/2021 171 million doses have been given, 3.03 million per day in the last week (sounds impressive but if the rate does not increase it will take us now reduced to some 3 months to have 75% of the population vaccinated which many believe is necessary to develop herd immunity. In California 20,865,862 total doses have been given (76.2% of doses received to almost equal the U.S. average of 76.1%), but with the pressure of a certain recall coming endangering Newsom, California has risen up from 34th to 28th out of the 50 states in terms of the percentage of doses administered as a percentage of doses delivered to the states and at 18.8%% of its population fully vaccinated has moved up from 40th tied with North Carolina to 36th tied with Idaho in terms of percentage of population fully vaccinated. A long way to go to get herd immunity and lagging behind in terms of getting vaccines received into arms and percentage of population vaccinated compared to other states
and a great reason to recall this inept and hypocritical governor.
Non CV Case News: On the personal protection front in an era of defunding the police, Ohio’s new stand your ground law goes into effect today and Psaki announced that Biden would be taking action on gun control by executive action on Thursday; on the border Harris has gone MIA as the surge of illegals continues, with heart wrenching videos of children dropped over the wall or abandoned by coyotes (problem is Harris must view the crisis at the border is only a crisis because not enough illegals are crossing the border to become future Blue voters); on the why doesn’t he resign front, Cuomo has been caught with another blatant lie on his nursing home death’s scandal after having denied knowledge of the underreporting back in July 2020 which was revealed finally this year in January we find that his senior staff were discussing the matter and made the call not to disclose and the 9th sexual harassment victim who remains anonymous has given chilling details of his closing the door after she entered his office and his grabbing her and pulling her forcibly toward her to grope her; the L.A. Sheriff’s Department revealed that Woods was going 84-87 miles an hour when his vehicle went airborne to hit a tree at 75 miles an hour and denied Woods received any special treatment (guess that the black box data on speed must not be admissible in a reckless driving charge that under Gascom’s get out of jail card policies would not have been prosecuted anyway); Reds have been howling that minor children coming to the border are being raped and sexually abused and now Governor Scott is demanding that a DHS migrant facility in San Antonio be closed due to child sexual abuse occurring there; the only positive benefit of the surge in illegals and unaccompanied minors is that a slim reed of sanity may be appearing in the Biden Administration as it now is considering that it may fill in some gaps in the wall (given the Blues desire for more illegals to become Blue voters, don’t hold your breath); California is as Blue as Blue can be and Reds will face a rough road in replacing him after the Secretary of State verifies that enough signatures in the over 2 million that signed the petition are validated but former Trump adviser Brad Parscale may be assisting transgender Caitlyn Jenner in her possible run to be governor (if Jenner would siphon off Blue votes hope she enters); it looks like the school day for elementary school children may be reduced to some three hours and then childcare which should fire up the Recall Newsom and the outrage over our teachers union; backers of a recall effort for L.A. DA Gascon have formally started the process and have started the 160 day clock to obtain 580,000 signatures of registered voters to place a recall on the ballot https://recallgeorgegascon.com/; as Biden continues to lie about the content of Georgia’s new election law to justify the movement of the MLB All Star Game to Denver, leave it to the political cartoonist to capture the Biden’s lies: https://www..comfoxnews/politics/cartoons-slideshow
Chicago Gun Violence: HeyJackass.com is back to show that through April 6, 2021, gun violence involving mostly persons of color shooting persons of color in Chicago is alive and well with 820 persons shot of whom 150 have died.
