CV World Cases: The CV pandemic across the planet continues on a slowing down basis the new year with cases now over 195 million at 194,794,226 cases (194,809,754 cases yesterday); 14,020,704 of which are active, 181, 274,022 closed with 177,092,122 recoveries (97.69% and 97.69% yesterday, and 4,181,900 deaths (2.31% and 2.31% yesterday) to continue the slow trend of increased cases with increased recovery percentages and decreased death percentage with some plateaus, dips, and rises.
CV USA Cases: Total cases now over 35 million at 35,257,596 (35,195,465 yesterday) with 5,093,913 active cases of which 8323 are serious or critical, (8236 yesterday and 8,599 on 3/25/2021) (now on a serious upswing due to Delta virus up to .016% of active cases and now a steady increase in the number of serious or critical cases to decrease the reduction from the 29,271 peak on 12/31/2020 to 20,948, 30,163,683 closed, with 626,921 deaths (2.08% and 2.08% yesterday) and with 29,536,762 recoveries (97.92% and 97.92% yesterday). Our death rate percentage continues to slowly improve and after many months is now .23% lower than the world’s death rate.

                     Guatemala:  Active Cases:  34,846 Deaths/M 553
                     Honduras:    Active Cases: 181,611 Deaths/M 754
                     El Salvador: Active cases:     6,400 Deaths/M 394

US Vaccinations: As of 7/26/21 342.2 million doses at .591 million per day (8 months to go for 75% of population vaccinated) and in California 75,621 per day which means if the rate does not increase it will take us now some 5 months to have 75% of the population of California vaccinated which many believe is necessary to develop herd immunity (other than Flip Flop Fauci who may believe that 90% is required). In California 44,724,529 total doses have been given (88.5% of doses received to exceed the U.S. average of 86.8%), but even with the pressure of a recall to be scheduled this fall which hopefully end Newsom’s term, California has finally has moved down from 19^th to 20^th of the 50 states in terms of the percentage of doses administered as a percentage of doses delivered to the states and at 52.4% of its population fully vaccinated compared to the U.S. average of 49.1% has moved down from 20^th to 17^th among the 50 states. A long way to go still to get herd immunity in terms of getting vaccines received into arms and the percentage of the population fully vaccinated compared to other states which means a great reason to recall this inept and hypocritical governor.
Non CV News: As Blue run cities are jumping on the bandwagon of “Defund the police” their spending millions to their elected mayors and elected officials to their safety with cops increase in what should be a total outrage among black and brown residents that are dying from gunshots like flies; once again we see a testy senile president lashing out a reported who asked a question about VA required vaccinations for personnel that was not in his Iraq subject script (hand it to him he and his staff are doing their best hide his mental failings but they are failing; former Senator Barbara Boxer joined the real world in Oakland as she was assaulted and had her cell phone robbed (if the elite become crime become victims as opposed to black and brown mere mortals the crime was would stop overnight); looks like Ben and Jerry’s anti-Israel boycott may be melting as the authority that grants kosher status for products is reviewing their classification while Cuomo is having state agencies review the question of whether Ben and Jerry’s boycott violates New York’s law banning boycotts of Israel; at a time when shootings and killings are going off the charts AOC is ranting that we must do away with prisons and jails for blacks and browns (wonder how much of her massive campaign war chest she spends on private security guards?); Newsom (who can’t be bothered as he is so busy misgoverning California), Jenner (because she has a prior commitment in Hawaii) and Elder (because he has a fund raising commitment in Bakersfield and does not want Reds attacking each other when they should have Newsom present to attack); some of our social injustice athlete warriors at the Olympics might consider aping aping Hidilyn Diaz as she stood on the platform as the Philippines was awarded its first ever Gold Medal for her weight lifting performance:

             e.  2016 Solar Impulse 2 carrying only the pilot became the first solar powered aircraft to circumnavigate the Earth after a trip that started on March 9, 2015 but was subject to a lengthy delay in Japan and a grounding in Hawaii to repair the batteries to finally take off from Hawaii in April of 2016 and after added stops to the itinerary landed on this day in 2016 in Abu Dubai to complete the circumnavigation.

CV World Cases: The CV pandemic across the planet continues on a slowing down basis the new year with cases now over 194 million at 194,809,754 cases (194,374,129 cases yesterday); 13,876,942 of which are active, 180, 925,951 closed with 176,750,758 recoveries (97.69% and 97.69% yesterday, and 4,174,993 deaths (2.31% and 2.31% yesterday) to continue the slow trend of increased cases with increased recovery percentages and decreased death percentage with some plateaus, dips, and rises.
CV USA Cases: Total cases now over 35 million at 35,195,465 (35,185,347 yesterday) with 5,060,794 active cases of which 8236 are serious or critical, (6551 yesterday and 8,599 on 3/25/2021) (now on a serious upswing due to Delta virus up to .016% of active cases and now a steady increase in the number of serious or critical cases to decrease the reduction from the 29,271 peak on 12/31/2020 to 21,035, 30,138,671 closed, with 626,762 deaths (2.08% and 2.08% yesterday) and with 29,511,909 recoveries (97.92% and 97.92% yesterday). Our death rate percentage continues to slowly improve and after many months is now .23% lower than the world’s death rate.

         Standing: On a deaths per million population measure on a steady   but slow climb to 1882 the U.S. ranks behind Peru (5855) the new number 1 which has had a quantum leap in deaths previously unmatched which was a change in the classification to give Peru the a new method of reporting to have a fatality rate of 9.32% of total cases now; Hungary the new number 2 has had a huge continuing surge in deaths with the increase now slowing down and improving slightly to  3.87% of its closed cases have died (3116), aping Hungary in terms of increase in deaths Bulgaria (264039),   Brazil (2568) which has been hit with a rapid rise in deaths and cases and passed us and Italy, Argentina (2273), Belgium (2166), (Italy (2120), Poland (1990), and the UK (1892) which had passed us despite leading world in testing and now has new deaths barely increasing), and slightly better than Mexico (1828), Chile (1816), Romania (1794),  Spain (1736),  France (1706), Portugal (1701, Bolivia (1489),  Sweden (1438) that never closed its economy down like we did, and Switzerland (1250).
        Tests: We have now conducted 523,608,953 (now at 1,573,784/M) compared to number 2 now France at 1,550,973 we are conducting more tests in number and on a per capital basis for all nations (other than those nations that contain small populations like Bahrain, Denmark, Israel, Malta, Singapore and UAE) other than the U.K. which remains as king of the mountain with respect to tests at 3,468, 873/M.
             CV Open Gate: Lost in the pronouncements by Biden and his lackeys   that there is no crisis of illegals surging across the border is that fact that COVID-19 is alive and well and spreading in the Northern Triangle and Mexico which been passed by Argentina to move down to 11^th  on my list of deaths from the pandemic at 4182/M with a fatality rate of 10.09% of closed cases and the 3 countries in the Northern Triangle in terms of active cases and deaths per million are as follows even though the data may be suspect as underreported (regardless of number we need no more cases):

A long way to go still to get herd immunity in terms of getting vaccines received into arms and the percentage of the population fully vaccinated compared to other states which means a great reason to recall this inept and hypocritical governor.
        Non  CV News: As the Delta variant continues to spread and infections among the unvaccinated continue to surge, Fauci was revealing that new mask mandates are being considered indoors and outdoors as Los Angeles is requiring masks indoors and outdoors; Blue Texas Rep Philip Cortez has returned to the State of Texas and is supposedly not facing arrest as Governor Abbot had threatened to continue discussions with Reds to lessen the false claims of “voter suppression (Reds have to talk about voter security as illegal voting cancels out legitimate votes); black Jarvis Johnson, Texas Blue who also returned to Texas was on MSNBC saying he is fearful that some “rural” cop is going to harm his son to become a Red hero (typical racist card attack coupled with a racist smear against police that he should be ashamed making); in disturbing news, William Freidman, the architect who designed Champlain Towers South was suspended in 1967 for gross incompetence of a building that had its pylons collapse in a hurricane; a flight preparing to leave SFO for Orlando after several passages received a text message of an Airsoft gun from a teen on board the plane via Airdrop out of an abundance of caution has everyone removed from the plane, rescreened then reboarded save the teen who sent the texts; Momentus discovered that it may be easier to launch satellites into space that get a suspect IPO by the SEC as the company pulled its IPO undercharges the company failed to disclose technology risks, misstated the existence of customers and neglected to inform investors the founder was a deemed security risk (not to let the dream die, the company is going to use a SPAC to take the company public albeit at a closer to Earth valuation); Feces City is considering a congestion tax on high paid drivers who enter the city along with a plan to procure high tech trash cans at $20,000 a pop (the only thing keeping California alive is Silicon Valley and the more cities like SFO seek to slice more and more of the Golden Eggs the more likely the entrepreneurs will leave and take the high paying jobs with them; angered Hamas’ low tech solution to attack Israel with balloon bombs like the Japanese the Pacific Northwest in World War II, Israel has unleashed its high tech planes and bombs to attack Hamas bases in Gaza; spend a little time in Feces City or the homeless tent cities in Venice and you cannot escape the solution that the Golden State is misnamed and should become the Iron Pyrite State as the political cartoonist so aptly portrays the reality of the rot:

A long way to go still to get herd immunity in terms of getting vaccines received into arms and the percentage of the population fully vaccinated compared to other states which means a great reason to recall this inept and hypocritical governor.
        Non  CV News: The  Hostage Taker in Chief of the AFT that fought tooth and nail to keep schools closed to in person teaching and is a rabid supporter of CRT is raking in over $560,000 a year some 10 times the average teacher salary whose dues are paying for her salary and contributions to the Blues; Blue Terry McAuliffe in a rough election fight has just taken in $2.2 million in contributions and now wants to repeal Virginia’s right to work laws; as new COVID-19 cases continue to rise due to the Delta variant, the NFL looks like it is in the vanguard of mandating vaccines as the league will not add an additional game to the schedule to make up for lost games due to the virus and players will not be compensated for forfeited games; do not be surprised to see more and more jurisdictions like Los Angeles and St. Louis requiring mask wearing even those who are fully vaccinated; Psaki must be using a different dictionary than the rest of us as she touts the Biden Administration is the most transparent then refuses to answer questions on how many staffers have come down with breakout infections of COCID-19; the Cleveland Indians buckling to the cancel culture warriors have dropped the name Indians and will now be known as the Guardians; Biden must be a great fan of Fear the Walking Dead or his dementia is expanding faster than we thought as he accuses Reds of claiming Blues are “sucking blood out of kids”; the Blue Texas State Representatives are retaining their scofflaw status by refusing to return to Texas (most Texans should be demanding specific sections of the Texas Election Law changes that result in voter suppression: the mission of the search and recover workers at the Champlain South Tower collapse has come to an end with 97 bodies recovered and 1 person still missing; Trump supporter Tom Barrack charged with illegally lobbying on behalf of the U.A.E. has been released from jail on posting $250 million bail; no one listened to Trump when he said in essence once the left starting tearing down Confederate statutes their would be no limit to whom they would want to remove from our history but the political cartoonist gives us a graphic idea where the trend is going:

The Big A May Be Only Waiting--celebrating the birth on this day in 1967 of noted actor, director and producer Philip Hoffman who was nominated for 4 Academy Awards and after using extensively drugs while in college at age 22 upon graduation from college went into rehab and was able to remain sober for 23 years but relapsed in 2013 and tried another rehab program in May of that year that enabled him to conceal his drug use which killed him with a needle in his arm on February 2, 2014 from an accidental mixed drug overdose of heroin, cocaine, benzodiazepines and amphetamine at the age of 45.

              On this day in:
             a. 1962 the world became a smaller linked planet when Telstar relayed the first live transatlantic television program featuring Walter Cronkite, Chet Huntley and BBC’s leading news commentator Richard Dimbleby.
         b. 1967 after Detroit police arrested 81 blacks in a raid of an illegal bar in the African American 12 Street section of Detroit where a party was being held to welcome back 2 black soldiers who had returned from Vietnam, a riot broke out resulting in troops from the 101^st and 82^nd Airborne Divisions and the Michigan National Guard being sent in to quell the riot and when the riots ended 5 days later, 43 were dead, 1,189 injured, over 7,000 arrested and more than  400 buildings destroyed.
         c. 1992 the Vatican ruled that limiting certain rights of homosexuals and unmarried couples was not the equivalent of discrimination based on race or gender.

d. 1999 the Space Shuttle Columbia, carrying the Chandra X-Ray Observatory was successfully launched with Eileen Collins as the first female Shuttle Commander.
e. 2012 in a dodge the solar bullet moment, a massive coronal mass ejection from the Sun occurred which fortunately missed hitting the Earth by 9 days which had it hit would have caused an estimated $2.6 trillion in damages to electrical equipment across the globe.

CV World Cases: The CV pandemic across the planet continues on a slowing down basis the new year with cases now over 192 million at 192,720,943 cases (192,062,863 cases yesterday); 13,392,197 of which are active, 179,328,746 closed with 175,188,219 recoveries (97.69% and 97.70% yesterday, and 4,140,527 deaths (2.31% and 2.30% yesterday) to continue the slow trend of increased cases with increased recovery percentages and decreased death percentage with some plateaus, dips, and rises.
CV USA Cases: Total cases now over 35 million at 35,123,237 (35,019,526 yesterday) with 5,047,877 active cases of which 6421 are serious or critical, (6073 yesterday and 8,599 on 3/25/2021) (now on a serious upswing due to Delta virus up to .013% of active cases and now a steady increase in the number of serious or critical cases to decrease the reduction from the 29,271 peak on 12/31/2020 to 22,850, 30,075,360 closed, with 625,715 deaths (2.08% and 2.08% yesterday) and with 29,449,645 recoveries (97.92% and 97.92% yesterday). Our death rate percentage continues to slowly improve and after many months is now .23% lower than the world’s death rate.

         Standing: On a deaths per million population measure on a steady   but slow climb to 1879 the U.S. ranks behind Peru (5839) the new number 1 which has had a quantum leap in deaths previously unmatched which was a change in the classification to give Peru the a new method of reporting to have a fatality rate of 9.36% of total cases now; Hungary the new number 2 has had a huge continuing surge in deaths with the increase now slowing down and improving slightly to  3.89% of its closed cases have died (3116), aping Hungary in terms of increase in deaths Bulgaria (2638),   Brazil (2548) which has been hit with a rapid rise in deaths and cases and passed us and Italy, Argentina (2244), Belgium (2166), (Italy (2119), Poland (1990), and the UK (1888) which had passed us despite leading world in testing and now has new deaths barely increasing), and slightly better than Mexico (1817), Chile (1794), Romania (1793),  Spain (1735),  France (1705), Portugal (1695), Bolivia (1478),  Sweden (1438) that never closed its economy down like we did, and Switzerland (1250).
        Tests: We have now conducted 519,288,507 (now at 1,559,237/M) compared to number 2 now France at 1,522,417 we are conducting more tests in number and on a per capital basis for all nations (other than those nations that contain small populations like Bahrain, Denmark, Israel, Malta, Singapore and UAE) other than the U.K. which remains as king of the mountain with respect to tests at 3,451,273/M.
             CV Open Gate: Lost in the pronouncements by Biden and his lackeys   that there is no crisis of illegals surging across the border is that fact that COVID-19 is alive and well and spreading in the Northern Triangle and Mexico which been passed by Argentina to move down to 11^th  on my list of deaths from the pandemic  at 1814/M with a fatality rate of 10.32% of closed cases and the 3 countries in the Northern Triangle in terms of active cases and deaths per million are as follows even though the data may be suspect as underreported (regardless of number we need no more cases):

                     Guatemala:  Active Cases:  31,240 Deaths/M 544
                     Honduras:    Active Cases: 178,727 Deaths/M 746
                     El Salvador: Active cases:     5,197 Deaths/M 386

US Vaccinations: As of 7/21/21 339.1 million doses at .519 million per day and in California 74,790 per day which means if the rate does not increase it will take us now some 6 months to have 75% of the population vaccinated which many believe is necessary to develop herd immunity (other than Flip Flop Fauci who may believe that 90% is required). In California 44,290,270 total doses have been given (88.4% of doses received to exceed the U.S. average of 86.8%), but even with the pressure of a recall to be scheduled this fall which hopefully end Newsom’s term, California has finally has not moved from 18^th of the 50 states in terms of the percentage of doses administered as a percentage of doses delivered to the states and at 51.9% of its population fully vaccinated compared to the U.S. average of 48.8% has not moved from 17^th tied with Delaware among the 50 states. A long way to go still to get herd immunity in terms of getting vaccines received into arms and the percentage of the population fully vaccinated compared to other states which means a great reason to recall this inept and hypocritical governor.
Non CV News: The pushback by parents and state AG’s against the teaching of CRT in our schools is gaining momentum and securing victories as the Biden DOE has walked back its support of the Abolitionist Network’s roadmap on how to reopen schools which includes guidance on how to remove “whiteness”; Rand Paul is requesting a criminal referral for Fauci’s potential perjury and breaking our laws concerning the banning of gain of function research that he claims was done at the Wuhan Lab and paid for with funds controlled by Fauci but admits given the politization of the DOJ it will be doubtful they will pursue it; the “bipartisan” House committee to investigate ad nauseum just got a lot less nonpartisan after Pelosi in an unprecedented move, refused to allow the Red Minority Leader’s picks Jordan and Banks to be on the committee which prompted McCarthy to indicate the Reds will not participate (Pelosi may be many things but when it comes to dictatorial rule she is consistent); James Craig, the black ex police chief of Detroit, has announced that he is joining 7 other Reds in running to replace Witless Whitmer as the state’s governor; in a typical rush to judgment, the Blues put up for vote a $1 trillion infrastructure bill that is nowhere complete in its drafting which garnered only 49 votes in favor; Newsom’s cronies tried to block Larry Elder’s name from being placed on the recall ballot which prompted a legal challenge by Elder which a court has just ruled in his favor (wonder if Newsom is quaking in his boots as if not he should be); one of the scofflaws from Texas, Donna Harwood, who was one of the 6 who tested positive for CV, is now on the warpath now demanding that all Texans be vaccinated; in France some demonstrations against have to show a health pass showing vaccination or negative COVID test; as more and more Americans are now attacking Fauci’s performance leave it to the political cartoonist to portray was many believe is fear mongering:

   Chicago Gun Violence: Hey Jackass.com is alive and well to collect data to show that through July 20, 2,021, gun violence involving mostly persons of color shooting mostly persons of color in Chicago is alive and well with 2342 persons shot of whom 405 have died.

Alien Among Us to Make Us Laugh--celebrating the birth on this day in 1951 of noted comedian Robin Williams, best known for his TV role as Mork and a stream successful films like Dead Poets’ Society, Mrs. Doubtfire, Hook and Good Morning Vietnam. Sadly, he suffered from depression and the onset of a form of dementia Lewy body disease and took his own life by hanging on August 11, 2014 at age 63.

              On this day in:
             a. 1949 the U.S. Senate ratified the North Atlantic Treaty.
         b. 1961 Mercury Astronaut Gus Grissom became the 2^nd American into space in a suborbital flight aboard the Liberty 7 which had the misfortune of its escape hatch being blown on landing and sinking to the bottom of the ocean.
            c. 1970 after 11 years of construction, the Aswan High Dam was completed.

d. 1979 Jay Silverheels, a Mohawk actor best known for his portrayal of Tonto on the Lone Ranger TV series became the first Native American to have a star inserted on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
e. 2011 the U.S. Shuttle Space Program and its ability to place astronauts into space ended with the final mission of Atlantis.
