            CV World Cases: The CV pandemic across the planet continues on a slowing down basis the new year with cases now over 185 million at 185,386,774 cases 11,656,185 of which are active, 173,730,589 closed with 169,721,398 recoveries (97.69% and 97.69% yesterday, and 4,009,191 deaths (2.31% and 2.31% yesterday) to continue the slow trend of increased cases with increased recovery percentages and decreased death percentage with some plateaus, dips, and rises.
            CV USA Cases: Total cases now over 34 million at 34,622,690  with 4,855,844 active cases of which 3,801) yesterday and 8,599 on 3/25/2021) (now down to .078% of active cases and now a significant reduction to decrease the number of serious or critical cases to increase the reduction from the 29,271 peak on 12/31/2020 to 25,470, 29,766,846 closed, with 621,561 deaths (2.09% and 2.09% yesterday) and with 29,145,285 recoveries (97.91% and 97.91% yesterday). Our death rate percentage continues to slowly improve and after many months is still .22% lower than the world’s death rate.

             Standing: On a deaths per million population measure on a steady   but slow climb to 1867 the U.S. ranks behind Peru (5790) the new number 1 which has had a quantum leap in deaths previously unmatched which was a change in the classification to give Peru the a new method of reporting to have a fatality rate of 9.36% of total cases now; Hungary the new number 2 has had a huge continuing surge in deaths with the increase now slowing down and improving slightly to  3.89% of its closed cases have died (3113), aping Hungary in terms of increase in deaths Bulgaria 2629),   Brazil (2462) which has been hit with a rapid rise in deaths and cases and passed us and Italy, Belgium (2164), Argentina (2126), (Italy (2115), Poland (1986), and the UK (1879) which had passed us despite leading world in testing and now has new deaths barely increasing),  and slightly better than Mexico (1796), Romania (1781) Spain (1731),  France (1700), Portugal (1684),  Chile (1644), Sweden (1436) that never closed its economy down like we did, Bolivia (1438) and Switzerland (1250).                  Tests: We have now conducted 509,216,603 tests (now at 1,529,335/M) compared to number 2 now France at 1,451,940/M) as we are conducting more tests in number and on a per capital basis for all nations (other than those nations that contain small populations like Bahrain, Denmark, Israel, Malta, Singapore and UAE) other than the U.K. which remains as king of the mountain with respect to tests at 3, 209,323/M.

               CV Open Gate: Lost in the pronouncements by Biden and his lackeys   that there is no crisis of illegals surging across the border is that fact that COVID-19 is alive and well and spreading in the Northern Triangle and Mexico which been passed by Argentina to move down to 11^th  on my list of deaths from the pandemic  at 1796/M with a fatality rate of 10.36% of closed cases and the 3 countries in the Northern Triangle in terms of active cases and deaths per million are as follows even though the data may be suspect as underreported (regardless of number we need no more cases):                                                                 Guatemala:  Active Cases:  24,209 Deaths/M 523                                                                 Honduras:    Active Cases: 169,217 Deaths/M 7108
                     El Salvador:  Active cases:     4,231 Deaths/M 370
                US Vaccinations: As of 7/6/21 331.2 million doses at .866 million per day which means if the rate does not increase it will take us now some 6 months to have 75% of the population vaccinated which many believe is necessary to develop herd immunity (other than Flip Flop Fauci who now believes that 90% is required).  In California 43, 182, 509 total doses have been given (87.7% of doses received to exceed the U.S. average of 86.5%), but even with the pressure of a recall to be scheduled this fall which hopefully end Newsom’s term, California has finally  moved to 19^th of the 50 states in terms of the percentage of doses administered as a percentage of doses delivered to the states and at 50.5% of its population fully vaccinated compared to the U.S. average of 47.5% has  moved to 18^th among the 50 states.  A long way to go still to get herd immunity in terms of getting vaccines received into arms and the percentage of the population fully vaccinated compared to other states which means a great reason to recall this inept and hypocritical governor.
                Non  CV News: With searchers striving to beat Hurricane Elsa bearing down on them, the confirmed death count has risen to 36 from the Champlain South Tower collapse with 109 still missing but only 70 of these confirmed to have been in the building; as the number of vaccine doses continue to drop and some vaccination sites closing to due lack of customers, the Biden Administration is talking about a door-to-door push to get people to get vaccinated (could be a good test run for plans that must be on the shelf to go door to door to try to get people to surrender their firearms; despite the outrage of the left and MSM implying the 4^th is for whites only as blacks are not yet free, the 4^th was celebrated non virally but it was not a weekend to celebrate freedom from fear of being shot as estimates of over 400 shootings nationwide with some 250 deaths (safe bet will be that close to or more than 95% of the victims and (95% of the shooters will be those of color); Sha’Carri Richardson’s name was not on the roster released by the U.S. Olympic Committee but her 30 day suspension ends before one of the relay races which means she might be able to compete in that event (rules are rules even if the death of her mother prompted the usage but how can marijuana be viewed as performance enhancing in a race?); to be a woke in Loudin County one has to be a fanatic as the Loudin School Board which was hit with an injunction ordering it to reinstate the teacher who refused to address transgenders by anything other than their biological sex due to his religious beliefs is appealing the ruling to the Virginia Supreme Court; Max Lewis 20 year old white University of Chicago student while on a train coming home was hit by a stray bullet which passed through his neck and spinal cord to become 1 of  the 100 people shot in Chicago over the 4^th was able to signal his parent by blinking that after learning he would be paralyzed for life from the neck down and require a ventilator that he wanted them to pull the plug which they managed to find the courage and compassion to have it done (sadly the shooter is still on Chicago streets waiting for the next opportunity to shoot and opposing gang member or rival drug dealer); no institution including our military is safe from the woke cancer of CRT as associate PolySci  Professor at Air Force Academy Lynne Garcia is advocating on a WAPO Op-ed platform that CRT be taught to cadets;  as the Blues shielded by the sycophants of the MSM fuel the flames of more division in this country, leave it to the political cartoonist to point out in stark terms their hypocrisy:

He is now enjoying life as an ex-president probably unlike his father is not jumping out of airplanes and unlike Hunter Biden is painting but is not selling them to anonymous buyers for outrageous price who are buying in expectation of quid pro quo from the White House.

                a. 1885 Louis Pasteur successfully tested his rabies vaccine on 9 year old Joseph Meister who had been bitten by a rabid dog. He did not develop rabies and went on as an adult to become the caretaker of the Louis Pasteur Institute but 10 days after the Wehrmacht entered Paris in 1940, he committed suicide at the age of 64 on June 24, 1940.
                b. 1944 The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus was performing its circus in Hartford, Connecticut under a tent which could accommodate 9,000 spectators when the tent coated with fire to waterproof it but made it very flammable caught fire and quickly spread causing pandemonium and panic and when the fire ended some 168 spectators had died and some 500 more had been injured.
                c. 1986 Davis Phinney became the first America to win a road stage in the Tour de France.
                d. 2006 the Nathu La pass sealed during the Indo-China War was reopened to trade after 44 years.
                e.  2013 in a glaring example of why pipelines are safer to transport petroleum, a 73 tanker car train derailed at Lac-Mégantic, Quebec which the resulting fires and explosions destroyed most of the town’s downtown center and killed 47 people.

In California 43,082,412 total doses have been given (87.5% of doses received to exceed the U.S. average of 86.3%), but even with the pressure of a recall to be scheduled this fall which hopefully ends Newsom’s term, California moved back from 20^th to 21^st of the 50 states in terms of the percentage of doses administered as a percentage of doses delivered to the states and at 50.4% of its population fully vaccinated compared to the U.S. average of 47.4% has dropped back from 18^th to 19^th  among the 50 states (maybe Newsom’s vaccine lottery deserves more credit).  A long way to go still to get herd immunity in terms of getting vaccines received into arms and the percentage of the population fully vaccinated compared to other states which means a great reason to recall this inept and hypocritical governor.
             Non  CV News: Recovery efforts have resumed now that the portion of the South Champlain Tower has been demolished and the confirm death count has risen to 28 with number of unaccounted for falling to 117; 2 CNN hosts of violence John Avalon and Laura Jarrett, daughter of leftist political hack Valerie Jarrett, were praising San Jose’s proposal to require lawful gun owners to carry insurance to own a firearm and pay a as of yet determined tax to own a fire arm (what a great one two punch against law abiding citizens make them incur the cost of insurance and tax them after they have paid sales tax to buy an annual tax to keep to raise the cost of protecting yourself while idiotic city councils and mayors are reducing police budgets); Lebron James whose Lakers were eliminated by the Phoenix Suns is at home and attending his son’s basketball games when near the end of the game his son Bronny was fouled and the announcer said foul was called because the teams were playing in a arena with Lebron’s name on it which cause James to head over to the announcer’s table to complain, stop the game and have two police walk over to him to encourage him to return to his seat which he did; the West hit with severe drought and high temperatures is facing another plague of Biblical portions—a plague of grasshoppers which is causing a large amount of damage to agricultural crops; at Yale University the school will be offering a course comparing the prison system of the United States with that of Nazi Germany, China and the Soviet Union in the 20^th Century (safe bet is that the syllabus will be designed to promote evidence of systematic racism in the U.S. because the large numbers of blacks who have been found guilty of criminal behavior are in prison ); two other cases of why we need a 2^nd Amendment as in the Modesto area, a homeowner rushed back to his home after an alarm company had  indicated someone had broken into his home to have the intruder Rodney Lee Martin start shooting at him prompting the homeowner to fire back and kill him and in the other incident in the Modesto area Pearl Fierro broke the sliding glass door with a fire extinguisher of the home of an elderly couple threatening to kill them which prompted a living there after several warnings to shoot and kill her; Spence School in NYC has just joined a growing number of high priced private schools being attacked by parents for the wokeness of the teachers and principal after a video attacking white women and asking what percentage of white women should one hate; it is hard to criticize the military brass because of their service to the nation but leave it to the political cartoonist to criticize when that military leader crosses the line and instead of working on preparedness and readying our forces to prevent a war or if not prevented win starts pedaling wokeness and CRT:

             Non  CV News: Reds continue to push the idea that Biden is mentally flawed and should take a cognitive awareness test like Trump did and passed with flying colors which as of yet Biden has refused to do and will be used in 2022 to encourage voters to replace Blue reign in the House and Senate to curtail a dementia impacted president;  in Miami the search for survivors has resumed with the death count rising to 24 with the confirmed number of missing now dropped down to 124 as Governor de Santis announced that contracts will be signed to demolish the portion of the South Tower still standing due to its perceived imminent danger of collapsing; while Blues have their heads in the sand claiming that there is no crisis at the board and biased leftist hacks like Joyless Reid are claiming there is no crime spike, latest reports from the CBP are that with 4 months remaining in the 2021 Fiscal Year, 6918 criminal illegals have been arrested crossing the border; e-mails released show the South Tower Condominium Building Manager complaining to the city about delays in getting building permits so construction could be started (bureaucratic delay and ineptness at fault?); Khaled Awad, originally here on a student visa but then illegally here when it expired has been charged with attempted murder of a Jewish rabbis in NYC and is being held without bail and hate charges are being considered; reality has hit Andrew Cuomo finally in the face as only 1/3 of voters think he should run for another term and 62% think he should not (hopefully he will spare us another run but if his ego will not permit him from bowing out, great chance the new Empire State Governor will be a Red); Blues have introduced legislation that would severely curtail the ability of a state where a company is located to tax the telecommuting residents of another state being employed by that company (could very well be another incentive to move from have tax Blue run states to low tax states and telecommute); the 17 year cicadas have come and gone and are burrowed into the ground after their parents have died to reappear in 17 years or perhaps sooner due climate change;  after a never ending stream of vitriol on “White Supremacists” real and imaginary finally a heavily armed group of African Americans who view themselves above the law and superior to whites  making waves as the heavily armed  group in a routine traffic stop in Massachusetts have been arrested with fortunately no shots fired; Amy Gutmann, President of Penn that is in hot water for accepting millions of undisclosed donations from China has been appointed to serve as Ambassador to  Germany; as Biden and his policies are raising havoc in this nation, leave it to the political cartoonist to exemplify the Biden Ball and Chain:

            CV World Cases: The CV pandemic across the planet continues on a slowing down basis the new year with cases now over 183 million at 183,249,484 cases (183,249,484 yesterday), 11,584,629 of which are active, 172,094,380 closed with 168,118,872 recoveries (97.69% and 97.69% yesterday), and 3,975,708 deaths (2.31% and 2.31% yesterday) to continue the slow trend of increased cases with increased recovery percentages and decreased death percentage with some plateaus, dips, and rises.
             CV USA Cases: Total cases now over 34 million at 34,562,735 (34,550,460 yesterday) with 4,889,688 active cases of which 3,871 (3,872) yesterday and 8,599 on 3/25/2021) (now up to .079% of active cases and now back to a 1 serious or critical cases decrease to increase the reduction from the 29,271 peak on 12/31/2020 to 25,400, 29,673,047 closed, with 620,676 deaths (2.09% and 2.09% yesterday) and with 29,052,371 recoveries (97.91% and 97.91% yesterday). Our death rate percentage continues to slowly improve and after many months is still .22% lower than the world’s death rate.
             Standing: On a deaths per million population measure on a steady   but slow climb to 1864 the U.S. ranks behind Peru (5764) the new number 1 which has had a quantum leap in deaths previously unmatched which was a change in the classification to give Peru the a new method of reporting to have a fatality rate of 9.37% of total cases now; Hungary the new number 2 has had a huge continuing surge in deaths with the increase now slowing down and improving slightly to  3.90% of its closed cases have died (3113), aping Hungary in terms of increase in deaths Bulgaria (2620),   Brazil (2430) which has been hit with a rapid rise in deaths and cases and passed us and Italy, Belgium (2163), Italy (2114), Argentina (2070), Poland (1986), and the UK (1878) which had passed us despite leading world in testing and now has new deaths barely increasing),  and slightly better than Mexico (1790), Romania (1774), Spain (1730), Chile (1702),  France (1698), Portugal (1683),  Sweden (1436) that never closed its economy down like we did, Bolivia (1420) and Switzerland (1250). 
            Tests: As more and more of us are being vaccinated we are testing fewer each day and we have now conducted 506,673,442 tests (now at 1,521,818/M) compared to number 2 now France at 1,428,747/M) as we are conducting more tests in number and on a per capital basis for all nations (other than those nations that contain small populations like Bahrain, Denmark, Israel, Malta, Singapore and UAE) other than the U.K. which remains as king of the mountain with respect to tests at 3,147,432/M.
            CV Open Gate: Lost in the pronouncements by Biden and his lackeys   that there is no crisis of illegals surging across the border is that fact that COVID-19 is alive and well and spreading in the Northern Triangle and Mexico which been passed by Argentina to move down to 11^th  on my list of deaths from the pandemic  at 1790/M with a fatality rate of 10.43% of closed cases and the 3 countries in the Northern Triangle in terms of active cases and deaths per million are as follows even though the data may be suspect as underreported (regardless of number we need no more cases):

             Non  CV News: In Miami the search for survivors has resumed with the death count rising to 22, including sadly the 7 year old daughter of one of the firemen searching who at least was not the person who found the body, and the confirmed number of those missing has dropped to 126 with Hurricane Elsa, the first hurricane of the season on a track to hit Florida next week and complicate recovery efforts; Harris continues to fail to meet expectations and now concern may be rising she could not win in 2024 and may sink Blues’ chances in House and Senate; Gwen Berry’s not so stellar past in terms of disturbing and disparaging tweets may be coming back to hammer the hammer thrower (at least the Olympic Committee has set down in stone a rule that athletes may express their beliefs prior to the award ceremonies on the podiums but not during); it looks like the MSM is running out of Biden praises and is now lauding President XI of China on the Chinese Communist Party’s 100^th year celebration (more troubling that misplaced and not warranted praise of a human rights abuse regime just as troubling is the news the YouTube has been blocking videos show human rights abuses by China of the Uighurs); Psaki in her White House Briefings is more and more the spinner and deflector in chief ridiculed and mocked when she praises a $.16 drop in hot dogs for barbecues on the 4^th showing the Biden plan is working (with inflation at up 5% in May and gas up well over a buck a gallon 16 cents might by an ounce or too); in addition to bumbling and metal lapses Biden is getting more and more testy to press questions he does not like (what a miserable dynamic duo—a testy president and a chuckling vice president); the victims of the Champlain Tower South may not have died in vain, causing Miami to begin reviewing all high rise condos over 5 stories to be examined for structural integrity with the Crestview Towers located 7 miles away having its residents being evacuated after a structural report showed deficiencies; as we prepare to celebrate our 4^th of July, leave it to the political cartoonist to remind us what is really important to be celebrated on the 4^th   and which too often is not taught in schools  focusing on CRT:

              Non  CV News: In Miami the search for survivors has been halted due to structural concerns over the remaining portion of the tower collapsing on rescuers and when it is recommenced it most likely after 8 days be  shifted to one of recovery of bodies and sadly body parts as Biden and the First Lady have visited the site; SCOTUS has incurred the wrath of the Blues over its ruling that Arizona’s election laws banning ballot harvesting and requiring provisional ballots cast at the wrong precinct be discarded (true to form any attempt to prevent fraud will be opposed tooth and nail by Blues in their quest for one party rule); SCOTUS also ruled that California’s law requiring major donors to 501(c)(3) nonprofits was unconstitutional; Newsom’s recall has been set for September 14 following the certification by the Secretary of State of 1.7 million signatures; as California struggles with 161,000 homeless, Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg has proposed a right to housing and a requirement that the homeless accept housing if offered while in L.A. a pilot program with 70 tents for up to 120 people with security, meals and porta-potties at a cost of $2,666 per month which is more than many 1 bedroom apartments in pricey L.A. neighborhoods; Mayor Lightfoot of Chicago who epitomizes a light weight leader is blaming 99% of criticism of her handling of the crime surge in Chicago on racism and sexism motivations of her critiques ( she is right that there has been a slight decrease in the month of June, 2021 from June 2020, but year to date shootings are up from 1406 to 1620); the former Washington Redskins now the Washington Football Team has been tackled with the largest sexual harassment fine ever levied by the NFL, $10 million but no loss of draft picks or suspensions; the Trump Organization and its CFO have entered not guilty pleas to the corruption charges levied against them; no belt tightening at the Biden White House as 22 of his top advisers are sucking down $180,000 per year; Biden after visiting the South Champlain Tower collapse parroted his Energy Secretary’s claim that climate change could have caused the collapse (she was slammed but good chance the fawnee-in-chief will be home free); Garland after taking aim at states passing voter reform under his view that it is racist and having his law suit against Georgia probably destroyed by SCOTUS ruling in Arizona has shifted gears and has placed a hold on all federal executions until a review of federal procedures has occurred to insure defendants were accorded their Constitutional rights; Facebook is back to its anti-free speech behavior having pop-ups appear warning users they may have been exposed to extremists and pointing a click to get help (extremist in Facebook’s universe is usually conservative); in the ongoing sage of the sordid conservatorship tale for Brittany Spears, co-conservator Bessemer Trust has petitioned the court to be able to resign which if grant would put Brittany Spears in a world of hurt with her father who she detests and wants out of her life as the sole conservator (amazing if it can happen to a woman with such earning power what the heavy hand of the state could do to mere mortals); the backlash against the idiotic “defund the police” moves of Blue led city councils is making progress as a judge has order Minneapolis to hire more police officers; a high tax state like California is facing a huge sucking sound from Arizona that will soon install a flat rate income tax of 2.5% which should add another pitch to have high income tax payers leave this states; Gwen Berry whose turning her back on the flag and the National Anthem resulted in a massive amount of condemnation has vowed that she will compete in the Tokyo Olympics;  the MSM is ramping up its scaremongering technics on the Delta Variant of Covid-19 as an expected call for further shutdowns just as the nation is starting to emerge from the lockdowns and shutdowns of our economy;  as shootings and murders across the nation are rising off the charts and Biden is pushing more control against law abiding citizens leave it to the political cartoonist to highlight the fears Americans must now feel:

        1.  Canada Day—originally celebrated on July 1, 1867 as Dominion Day to commemorate Canada becoming a Dominion of Britain and now celebrated as Canada as it is now an independent country.

              b. 1979 to the joy of music lovers everywhere, SONY introduced the Walkman.
              c. 1980 “O Canada” became the official national anthem of Canada.
              d. 1991 the Warsaw Pact was  officially dissolved.

         e.  2020 the United States-Mexico-Canada Act came into force replacing    the disastrous agreement of NAFTRA.

Reflections on Lance Armstrong and his doping wins of the Tour de France: “I think it is just terrible and disgusting how everyone has treated Lance Armstrong, especially after what he achieved winning seven Tour de France races while on drugs ... When I was on drugs, I couldn't even find my bike.” Willie Nelson, noted singer and marijuana user.
